This is located near Old Town San Diego which is where we got our bus tour and was therefore convenient. It is a busy, bustling place on a Saturday and although it is overpriced, the food is excellent! There is parking behind the restaurant which was convenient as well. Would go back.

Great choices, hard to decide where to start. Read other reviews about killer blueberry muffins, and they were spot on. Bacon waffle with hot maple syrup, what more can I say???

Visited San Diego for 10 days. Our hotel rate didn't include the breakfast buffet so we needed to find someplace to feed hungry teenagers. Perry's Cafe was perfect! Hearty potions and fantastic service from Randy.... Our coffee was topped off without asking, our order came quickly. Food was delicious -- classic dinner in every way.

Good service and not a long wait for food at the counter. I got a scrambled Mexican Frittata and enjoyed every bite.

Came upon this place as we were looking for breakfast. Yummy food. Eggs cooked well. Potatoes were tasty. Large portions. Busy place but quick service and had our food quickly.

Wife and I rented bikes and rode to Perry's. Was amazing, old school diner that cooked it up right. Very generous portions, be prepared to wait a bit as it's very popular. Counter area is first come first served, for a quicker wait, catch someone getting up. Highly recommend!

If you like breakfast, and a lot of it, Perry's is the place to go. You may have a little wait, but well worth it. Really good food and lots of it. The portions are huge and filling. A great place to start the day and then walk over to the Old Town State Park.

if your are looking for Diner type food, this is the place. Great service, coffee as soon as you sit down. Large menu and all the items are delicious. At least half the price of big hotel breakfast and more tasty. we ate breakfast here everyday before doing the tourist thing the rest of the day.

past years when we visited we started our day with breakfast at Perry's (staying just down the street at Old Town Inn)... we just tried it last week .... maybe it was an off day ... but my food was simply awful ... the home fries were burned .... the hash was okay ..... still good service .... but probably... Great breakfast place. Everything came out piping hot, portions are huge, wait staff great and don't get me started on their homemade biscuits!!!! They serve breakfast till 2pm. The ham and eggs omelette had more ham than eggs!!! The frittata was perfectly made and chock full of toppings - sausage, cheese, veggies!! The biscuit is bigger than your head (I... More
