We routinely go here 2-3 times per month and the food and service are always excellent. Fish is fresh and cooked perfectly. Usually have a different server every time and all seem to be focused on exceeding customer expectations. Would highly recommend.

I walked a mile and a half for the best seafood. I did not get it. I spent $34 for a halibut that was no more than a size of my pointer finger and nothing else with it. I ordered spinach and that was the size of my palm. Stay away

Best fresh seafood we ate all trip! It isn't on the water but I think that means you get better seafood to eat. Very fresh and great seafood options.

We came to San Diego to enjoy some fish and we did here. Cute little neighborhood place. Easy to get to, parking on the street, we got one in the front. We made a reservation for a Monday night, not knowing what the crowds may be in the summer time. Medium sized menu and they only serve beer and wine,... More

We have watched this place evolve over the years from a fish/seafood market to a small eatery with the fish counter now to a full blown restaurant still with a fish counter. Super clean, amazing staff and most amazing food. Every time we visit San Diego this is a must stop once or twice while we are there.

My husband had the linguine with clam sauce and an order of the mussels. He said they were both really good, especially the mussels. I had the halibut and chips - the portion was hearty and cooked to perfection. It is very pricey, but we knew that going in. The food was worth the cost.

If you love fish, I recommend. I found the menu to be a bit unfocused (all fish, but all over the map) but everything was solid. Service was great, ambiance was average. Somewhere between average and very good, but Trip Advisor doesn't give half ratings

Mmmmmm the Ahi Poke Salad is amazing!! The attention to detail in the salad is over the top, so many little wonderful flavors and beautifully presented. It is the only thing we seem to order overtime we come here, priced around $20. It is a fish restaurant, with a fresh fish counter if you prefer to take your fresh catch... More

Went here our first night in town. Our hotel on the boardwalk was surrounded by loud bar/restaurants and this was in a nice quiet neighborhood. Service was standard, food was very tasty. Seafood selections were mainly fish, some apps had shellfish, but like the name implies, it's mostly about the fish. I had a grilled albacore belly with roasted corn,... More

Restaurant was recommended by our beach house owners. Nearby and outdoor patio for pups. No alcohol served on the patio btw. Parking is on the street only so you may have to walk a few blocks so be prepared. That seems to be the norm in most areas in sd. Two had the shrimp tempura with pineapple rice dish. Looked... More
