I stopped here for lunch while visiting La Jolla based on the Trip Advisor reviews. The restaurant itself is very nice. The staff were welcoming and sweet. I sat at the bar and ordered ceviche and blackened fish tacos. Great service: prompt, attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of their style of ceviche, where it's all chopped up... We walked to this restaurant from our beach inn on the recommendation of our innkeeper. This is definitely a local spot - it seemed we were the only out of towners there. The wine list is short but good and the fresh seafood offerings were outstanding. The halibut was out of this world, and the apple tart to share at... More

Lovely restored warehouse serving fresh seafood. Amazing cod and chips, hearty fish broth, delectable clams and seared salmon. Kids menu available. Al fresco seating is shaded from the afternoon sun and if you take the table at the far left end as you face the entrance, you can peek into the kitchen too!

We had a fantastic seafood dinner here. The Poke salad was my wife's favorite dish from the entire trip. However, we felt like we were being rushed from the second we sat down. The strange part was, there were only 3 other tables and it was 5:30. The experience would have been perfect had the waitress not been so eager... More

Very nice ambience away from the young party goers in Pacific Beach. The food was fresh, simply prepared, and well presented. Should mention they do not have a full bar. Beer and wine only.

We ate at The Fishery twice on our trip to Mission Bay, very good seafood. We had different things on each trip and all very good. Calamari starter is big enough for two and excellent. I have a lovely swordfish with ratatouille and my son had swordfish balls with pasta which smelt delicious, I didn't get to try it didn't... More

We were in San Diego on vacation and were hungry for lunch so we stopped in. We saw some good reviews but the place was rather empty on a Saturday at noon so I was a bit hesitant. The food and service were outstanding. So much so that later than week, we came back for dinner. Excellent quality seafood at... More

I have been to this restaurant a dozen times and have never been disappointed. The chief does a great job and the specials are often interesting. The Tuna poke (sp) appetizer reminds me of being at a good reataurant in Hawaii. The little neck clams in and linguni is my favorite. I have only had better in New York City... More

We enjoy going to The Fishery at least every month or more. The service is great and the seafood fresh. It is not on the ocean, but easy to find in Pacific Beach. Everything is very good especially the fish tacos!

We routinely go here 2-3 times per month and the food and service are always excellent. Fish is fresh and cooked perfectly. Usually have a different server every time and all seem to be focused on exceeding customer expectations. Would highly recommend.
