My hubby and I had breakfast and it was great! The huevos rancheros were delicious!!! They also gave my hubby two vouchers for free drinks at the door. It's a small but very cozy bar. Definitely going back!

Had st. Patrick's Day lunch here with some business colleagues. They had a Reuben sandwich that was outstanding. Service was good atmosphere was unique. And the waiter knew how old the bar was. What could be better!

We stopped by for a quick Sunday lunch- love the charm, service and mix of folks. I ordered the pozole and my husband had the fish and chips. Pozole was very good- only complaint if serving microwaved corn tortillas wrapped in paper - they stick together and detracted from the soup. Really good portions, reasonable prices. Loved sitting in the... More

It's a San Diego staple. If you are visiting SD for the first time or have lived here your whole life, this is a perfect dive to get a slider with onion rings and a San Diego local beer. They have an open bar- so anything is possible.

Whenever it's getting late and we want to go out in San Diego - The Waterfront seems to be always the first option. The food is great and The prices are reasonable. They seem to be open late To the best of my knowledge there is no parking at the place but we always find parking especially if we come... More

This place goes back for decades and is long in the tooth and old California beer joint charm. The breakfast is outstanding & Saturdays Mexican food specials are on the menu. Go have a bloody for me!

I love a good dive bar and how could I possibly walk by this place without stopping in, especially with the DIVE BAR sign right above the door. The awning over the patio out front boasts that is is the oldest tavern in San Diego. I bellied up to the bar just in time for Happy Hour and complimentary crab... More

My husband and I had a late lunch here. We sat on the patio area overlooking the bay. Lunch was yummy and I had one of the best margaritas ever.
