I had visited during the Soccer World Cup since they have big screen tvs, nice drinks and delicious food... But the second time I was really impressed... I went with my family and we ordered the bucket for two...and oh my, what a wonderful surprise! It's $59 dlls and it has lobster, shrimp, carne asada, chicken, corn on the cob,... More

While attending a conference in San Diego, I had lunch at Rockin Baja. Very cool spot. Had the Fajitas Baja. Excellent.

Hands down the best Value for Seafood. Whole lobsters. King Crab legs and Body. Roasted corn on the cobs. Unlimited beans and rice. Self serve various salsas and home made chips. Skewers of prawns. A large chicken breast and a large steak. All for less than $100 and certainly enought food for 4-6 adults.

3 of us went there for seafood because of some reviews I read. The atmosphere was pretty cool with a kind of indoor / outdoors dining. Two of us shared the seafood bucket. It was very good and fresh. We did order a single to split between us but they ended up bringing a 2 person bucket instead. It was... More

There's no real seafood restaurant in Old Town, but the closest thing is Rockin Baja Lobster. You can't get a slab of swimming-type fish, but you can get tacos that have pieces of fresh fish in them. The rest of the "fish" in this restaurant and the others in Old Town is shellfish (shrimp, crab, oysters, mussels, regular and langostino... More

Love this place. It has a good atmosphere, the staff are friendly and efficient, free nachos and dips to have with your cocktails until the main food arrives. The selection on the menu is extensive and very tasty, the cocktails are to die for. A regular stop spot for us every time we visit San Diego.

This is a solid 4 - we went in by the Coaster train and had the 'Sombrero Bucket' .. what a deal and that's all I'm saying. Go and take a look - be hungry - if you like seafood and turf food you're going to be happy. It was great, we'll drop back again.

A fun almost party atmosphere even midday on a Sunday. Food is great especially the chips and salsa bar.

This Restaurant is centrally located in Old Town San Diego. You can walk to it from any hotel in Old Town. I would not recommend driving as parking is limited and very difficult to find as the night life comes into play. They have very good live music which is pretty much old time Rock and Roll. The prices on... More

Not sure why this place is so highly rated. It's very comfortably casual, but incredibly loud with lots of large parties. Food is just OK and is pretty pricey for Mexican food. Not recommended if you want to be able to talk to your dining companions. On the good side, server was friendly and efficient. Also, parking is available on... More
