We went to celebrate a birthday dinner, ordered the lobster and shrimp bucket for 2, everything in the bucket was delicious. We had good service and enjoyed the drinks in the bar also.

Rockin Baja Lobster a perfect all around choice if visting old town San Diego. The Original baja bucket for Two will run you about $59 dollars but is worth it. Its filled with large shrimp, lobster tails, flank steak, chicken and grilled street Mexican corrn. All marinated and seasoned to perfection. Its a fun open air market place setting food for... More

I really like traditional Mexican food but 4 nights in a row? Rockin Baja was the answer for the change we needed. We stayed in Old Town, San Diego and could walk to all the restaurants. I had the Fish and Chips Bucket and my wife had Seafood Skillet Melt. Both portions were very adequate and very well prepared. BUT, seeing... More

The bucket of food which included perfectly cooked lobsters, shrimp, chicken and carnitas plus corn and freshly made tortillas was very tasty.

Go hungry, your taste buds will thank you. Had the opportunity to eat here this past Saturday. The food was served by the friendliest staff that enjoyed chatting with the guests, the seafood was fresh and mouthwatering. I only wish it was closer so I could go again. So happy we stumbled on this place.

Great Service, Wonderful food, lobster and shrimp bucket de-lish-ous...a definite "must". A casual restaurant, nothing fancy but, great food and good live music, only a few steps from the Trolly Tour terminus also ideal for pre-theatre dinner as Cygnet Theatre only 100yds or so up the street. Next time I'm in town...I'l be back!!

Had dinner tonight at Rockin Baja Lobster. Not sure how this restaurant received a 4 out of 5 star rating. Food was very disappointing. More of a Mexican fast food restaurant. Very overpriced for the quality of the food. My advise...try someplace else.

Hard to find a decent entree in the Gaslamp District for under $30, except perhaps at Whiskey House. After checking a dozen or so menus, we settled for Rockin Baja ~ the service was great, but the beer was warm ~ had to ask for ice just to drink it ~ really. Food was ok ~ but nothing to write...
