We have been here a couple times but last night was was not up to par. Food is expensive but we had always felt it worth it. Last night my fish tacos were excellent (2 for $19). My three friends weren't thrilled with their meals at over $30 each. And the calamari appetizer was over cooked. Service was good. Bread... More

The lobster roll was the BEST I have ever had and I have been looking for a good one for a long, long time. Never found one before that I couldn't make at home better myself. Every bite a delight. Great place to take out of town friends without losing your shirt and still have them be impressed.

Great location on the boardwalk. Plenty of seats, we like the upstairs patio area, great cool breeze while you eat. Lots of wine and beer to choose from. The ahi tacos were so delicious. Hubby had fish and chips, so good too!

We ate here on July 4th. weekend and while the staff was very accommodating, the food was pretty poor. We ordered clams and they had no taste at all in fact the bartender tried them and confirmed they needed to come off the bill. They broiled oyster where more like breadcrumbs. There are so many good choices in SD this... More

Just stopped here for dinner-- delicious!!! We had the mahi mahi, which came over a bed of yucca, zucchini, and carrot and a delicious creamy sauce along with a mango salsa. Would've licked the plate if there weren't so many witnesses. Some yummy beers on tap too.

Ate at the Harbor House and had house salad and a New York Strip. Steak was VERY good but salad was EXCELLENT! Love the vinaigrette! A little pricey, but worth the cost!

I am not sure how this received 3 stars, that is too much. I feel this could be on a Dave Ramsey Kitchen Nightmare show. They have to know the food is overpriced and over cooked. I think they just don't care. With the view, a make-over and a staff that cared this place could be awesome - but it... More

Get the tables overlooking the bayside. The oysters were amazing. We enjoyed the Napa Pinot wine. Dinner entrees were well made but low on quantity. I ordered for the chocolate molten lava cake and it was frozen cold on the inside - that was a big disappointment to end the good time we had. Place's pricey. We spent around $350... More

I have eaten at seafood restaurants all along the California coast and this one really disappointed me. The view was fantastic. However, I was paying for that at $3 per half hour to park. We had finished doing the SEAL tour around noon and decided to get seafood there in the village. The Trip Advisor ratings were high, so we... More

The Harbor House opened in 1980, and serves fresh fish, shellfish, premium steaks and local draft beers. We offer informal dining upstairs and on the outside decks as well as tablecloth/quiet dining downstairs. Come and enjoy our great city and harbor views. Walking distance from the San Diego Convention Center, we are an ideal spot for banquets and private events.
