Waited for wine and waited forever for fondue. Surrounded by at least 4 servers but no one helped. When I asked someone for help she said please wait. At that point we walked out.

I can't remember our waiters name, but he was very helpful in helping us decide what to order. We went with the create your own entree. We had filet mignon, chicken, duck, shrimp and pork. Everything was delicious cooked in the Mojo,... More

Went there for a dessert after Panera dinner, and got right in around 7:30PM. Not a lot of people eating that evening but it was the Tues after Memorial day, so that isn't that surprising. Our server helped us with our fondue pot cooking, made suggestions and then came back a couple times to say hi and chat a bit.... More

My first fondue restaurant, and I was not disappointed. Despite being vegetarian, I had an amazing menu (4 course) served to me, with exemplary service to boot. If I lived in San Diego, I would return for sure!

This is a gaslamp gem and if you're in the mood for something different and you've never tried fondue, this is THE place to check it out. The atmosphere is fantastic, the decor awesome, the service fantastic and the food is delicious! When you're done here, just walk out the door and down the stairs to Vin de Syrah for... More

We made it to the Gaslamp Quarter and we were walking when we see The Melting Pot. I have heard of it and since we weren't really hungry for dinner we decided to have dessert. We went in, very nice building and very elegant feel. We ordered the hot chocolate which was so delicious. We could have stopped there but... More

We were in San Diego for a weekend and stayed at the Gaslamp Plaza suites. The Melting Pot was just off the lobby and what a wonderful find! We were seated quickly and once at our table our waiter Ryan introduced himself and asked if we had dined with them previously. We said we had dined at another fondue restaurant.... More

Spent the weekend in downtown San Diego and had to stop into the Melting Pot. We made a reservation for our Anniversary. Upon arrival they had a card signed by the staff for us. Dinner was great! Always entertaining. Try the Shark Bite - awesome drink with great musical entertainment. :)

I'd previously tried the melting pot in Orlando and on this visit to the US, I really wanted to go again. We went on a mid week evening and managed to get a half eight booking which was lucky as they were so busy! We had beer and a couple of glasses of wine to start ( good Sauvignon blanc... More
