Wow! Consistency is the key when it comes to this restaurant!! Every year that we visit San Diego and go to Old Town, Casa Guadalajara is at the top of our list!! The food was as always so amazing! Service was great also! Chicken fajitas,...burritos, and big portions for the kids meals!! My favorite is the chicken fajitas with homemade flour tortillas!!! Our family loves this place!!More

We were in the Old Town area, so we decided to have dinner here for our first restaurant meal in over a year. We sat on the patio. Soon, a large basket of chips and salsa were delivered and our order taken. There is a...large menu with lots to choose from. My wife had the Enchiladas Trio, which is three different enchiladas, rice and beans. I had the Pollo Asado Y Vegetales, which is a grilled chicken breast smothered with sauteed vegetables. Black beans and cilantro lime slaw came on the side. The food was excellent and plentiful. Service was good until after our food was delivered and then our waiter seemed to disappear. No offer of refills and we had to wait quite awhile for our check. Overall, a good place to eat.More

This place is awesome. In San Diego for a few days. Happy to have found this place on our first day. Food and atmosphere were a 10. In fact we went back on our last day.

We have enjoyed visiting and eating in Old Town San Diego on numerous occasions, usually at Fiesta del Reyes. This time we wanted something different and ventured into Casa Guadalajara. It is a beautiful place with plenty of parking. Emmanuel, our server was friendly, outgoing...and patient. He explained all our choices and the service and food was very good. My Ceviche was large, fresh and delicious. The whole experience was great.More

We were visiting Old Town last Saturday and decided on Mexican food. There is no lack to the offerings there. We chose Casa Guadalajara and split a meal of shrimp fajitas. They were excellent. Service was also top notch. We sat on the patio and...the breeze made the afternoon very comfortable. We will be back.More

My husband and I had lunch on a Saturday. It was a bit of a challenge to find parking in their parking lot. Once we did, we were seated inside readily. We ordered the following: 2 House Margaritas, 1 Cantarito, Beef Chimichanga, Sopes Surtidos, and...2 tequila shots. Total was 102.26 without the tax or tip. Expensive? Yes, but you are in Old Town which is a tourist "trap." The waitress was efficient and friendly. Safety protocols for COVID were in place. Food was good even though it is over priced. I am a local, I would recommend this place for a tourist...just prepare to pay a lot.More

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in San Diego. Lovely atmosphere with vibrant Mexican decor. Great food and service and we love the mariachi band...though it hasn’t been there the last couple of times we visited...maybe due to Covid? Anyway...the only Mexican restaurant we go to when...we visit San Diego!!More

We came here with our daughter in mid-March on a Sunday for breakfast for the first time since CA re-opened on 1/25/21. It was wonderful! The tables are spaced out well and there are several large trees with plenty of shade.

This was one of the best restaurants I had been to on my San Diego trip. They had innovative takes on traditional Mexican dishes with huge portions. I had the enchilada de guacamole and it was great. Definitely want to come back here when visiting...old town San Diego. It’s a huge restaurant with great atmosphere and decorations and close proximity to the shops. The margaritas were also 17oz for less than $10! I appreciated the cheap price.More

Prices ranged from $15 to $20 or so for mains, really not expensive for the quantity. We took some home and had another meal.
