I think the name was the bulldog or something like that, but men that margarita bowl with the coronita beer inside of it was huge!!, and flavorful and strong, i think it was strong, ha. Service was very good, food was amazing and the prices are very affordable. Tons of space and very colorful restaurant and they also have live... More

Good enough to visit again. Maybe not great, but a solid effort. We made reservations and had a very short wait (minutes) thus after seeing the other reviews would definitely recommend calling ahead. We elected to dine on the patio and the evening was perfect. Drink orders went in immediately and the house special margarita arrived sized between a bowl... More

Good prices, very colorful and pretty...tiles, cut paper, fountains, stained glass everywhere. Food is fairly typical chain-restaurant type Medican, not a lot of deep flavors (and I was disappointed in the beans - which seemed canned). But decent Mexican food for the price, and you do get the atmosphere. There;s also a nice patio. Inside can be very loud -... More

The restaurant was very busy. We thought the food and margaritas were good, not exceptional. My husband and I both had one Margarita a piece and a 2 item combination each. The total bill was $43, so a bit pricey, in my opinion for lunch. Parking is very limited.

When Diane Powers lost the motel that she and her partner had converted into what was then known as Bazar Del Mundo she and San Diego lost one of the greatest assets the city ever had. I can't imagine the income she lost. Anyway... She did manage to land the building on the adjacent corner and move 99% of the... More

Heard great things about here but never made it in. The choices were standard but that is what I was seeking. A full platter of beans, rice great shredded beef enchilada and chili rellano Service was friendly and prices were very reasonable. I will be back.

This restaurant was recommended by a local as being authentic and nicely priced. It is in Old Town. The food was marginal. The wait staff were very nice. In Old Town, we found a better restaurant in the Old Town Mexican Cafe.

Portion size huge. Atmosphere is awesome. And the food is great! You should visit Old Town and go to this place. Had the beef burrito aka carte and beans.
