I love the fish and chips plate here. I do think it is a bit pricey! It is nice to sit out in the summer time by the water and get some sun.

Some love this place, but I find the fish is often over-spiced and way over-cooked. The environment is noisy and often grubby/dirty. The line-ups are often long, and the parking full. The outdoor seating has never been really clean on the various times I've been there. And its not cheap, especially for paper plates, thin napkins, and plastic forks. It... More

Living in Pt. Loma I have the advantage of going to P.L. Seafoods whenever I want, although I know to go earlier than 11:30 or later than 12:30 as all the locals eat there, as well as the touristas. With their new building we were afraid the atmosphere would change, but no, it's even better, with a top deck to... More

We ate here for a quick dinner, my husband wanted to see their remodel. I still wish that they would serve fresh fish without breading, After all, this is a seafood restaurant. I am glad they offer sushi & beer though. Parking appears to be a hassle but it is not, they have ample parking & there is usually people... More

The freshest seafood in town. The boats are outside the restaurant. The choices will not disappoint, something for everyone. All tourists should visit. The service exceeds expectations. We locals are regulars, price and quality are values.

We find the food quality at Point Loma Seafood to be very good. Point Loma Seafood is a great restaurant for a more casual outdoor dining experience with nice marina views.

Oh the choices! Great daily specials. Great for families. Casual atmosphere. Food quality was terrific! Next time, I am getting the Crab Cake sandwich. I posted socially and was going to chose it. I opted for the swordfish special (can't get it everyday). It was great. Cannot wait to go back. Good luck choosing your meal.

After a couple lunches at this place, my overwhelming thought is "why don't we have a place like this in San Jose (my home). The one word about this place is "fresh". Nothing but the freshest seafood, generous portions, prepared gently to let the star of the show shine through, not covered up by heavy batters or sauces. Fish and... More

Good variety in a fish market setting but they will prepare your food on a tray for self-seating. Nice location near the harbor. I don't drink so don't miss the wine list. I agree this is not a place where you go for service. But I think it may be one of SD's best values in seafood.
