We've eaten here twice now, separated by about 10 years. It's a seafood market that also prepares meals. You order at the counter and pick up your order in a bag when your number is called. Both inside and outside sitting at the waterfront. Beer and wine both available. Both times we ate here the food was great, highly recommended.

We went there, expecting fresh, tasty seafood. What we got was tasteless fish plate and shrimp taco which had us running for bathroom within an hour. Will never go there again. Two stars for service and nice staff.

I have been visiting Point Loma Seafoods for years; once you get a parking space in their tiny lot don't be deterred by the big crowd. They know how to take your order and crank out the best seafood sandwiches in town. Cash only.

My husband and kids stopped here for lunch on a recent visit to San Diego. Quite the market with many types of fresh fish/seafood. This was our second visit to this restaurant. Love that you can sit outside and enjoy the harbor/boats and of course the San Diego sun.

Don't expect to be pampered but expect GREAT seafood that you order at the market and eat in a crowded area with no frills.

Some of the cleanest, freshest fish anywhere. Prices are steep but it does reflect the quality of what is offered. The new building cleaned up the setting and makes for a very comfortable destination. I keep going back, mostly because I can't find anything like it back home. Oh I shouldn't have said that, now I want to make San... More

We stopped by this fish market and restaurant to grab a sandwich before heading out for a whale watching trip. It was fun to see all the local varieties of fish coming in off the boats. You order at the counter and pick it up when your buzzer goes off. We sat upstairs at tables outside that overlooked the harbor.... More

This is a bit of a touristy place to visit and free parking is limited especially during busy times of the day, but it's a nice place to see if you're in San Diego. The food is good. For those who are new to this place, there are no lines. Work your way to the counter and find an available... More

Good food but even better service. I had the crabcake sandwich and although very different style than I am used to as a Mid Atlantic girl it was good. We had virtually no wait as we went around 6 pm as opposed to lunchtime. My biggest compliment was for the General Mgr. who comped our entire meal after a major... More

If you like fresh seafood, this is the place to come for a casual lunch. When you see the humongous display of fresh fish and shellfish at the seafood counter, you know you've come to the right place. We had fish tacos and ceviche with chips and both were delicous. Make sure to sit on the upper deck for great... More
