At first we thought it was just a sportsbar and did not expect much fron the food. But we were pleasantly surprised by the great food they serve.

The view was wonderful. Drinks were pretty good. The mussels were overdone and tough. The salsa was so hot it hurt my chest when I ate it. The waitress never brought a box for leftovers after being asked twice. She was not very friendly.
Our group of 4 all had a great meal. We had great service, a great view, and got lucky because it was happy hour and the happy hour specials are great. The fish tacos are huge.
Came mostly for the incredible views, but very pleased with HAPPY HOUR. Great service, food offerings, and beer selections. An excellent value and an unhurried meal.
What a delight to stumble on this funky, delicious gem after arriving in San Diego and going to the closest beach. The four of us pretty much had it all: oysters (raw and Rockefeller), Spring roll shrimp wraps, clam chowder, an amazing tower thing with...rice and a rib burger topped with eggs, a “flight” of ceviches and more. Oh, and a bottle of Prosecco for the ladies. All at about 12:30 in the afternoon and the chef didn’t miss a beat. I’m a little reluctant to post this because I selfishly don’t want this place to get famous — but they deserve to be.More
We spent the day at the zoo and wanted a place to sit, relax and enjoy a beer. They have a great selection to choose from. They also provided great service. We got to sit by a window, watch the sky darken with night, and...watch some guy on the beach try to light off some fireworks (little success). Overall it was a great place to unwind after a long day at the zoo.More
I came to San Diego in August for my birthday and Wonderland was one of the restaurants we tried. We are SO GLAD we did. The food, mostly seafood but also a number of beef, chicken, and pork dishes (try the chili!), is excellent! The...fish and chips were perfect, the calamari had a nice kick to it, and the chowder fries are a bust have. I have no idea how they can smother french fries in clam chowder and cheese and not have the fries get soggy. The view is also amazing. It's the perfect spot to sit and look out at the ocean. It may be a bit of a wait to get the view, but it's well worth it. Go during sunset!More
We had Courtney as our server and she was FANTASTIC. Great recommendations and super attentive to us. The food and drinks here are all amazing. You can't go wrong. Service has been hit or miss every time we visit CA, so we were extremely pleased...to have Courtney wait on us. I highly recommend requesting to sit in her section. Their restaurant is on up the stairs so you get such a pretty view of the beach!More
I used to think this place was only good for drinks and the view but I went back recently and boy have things changed for the better! Everything we ordered was delicious and the view and the beer was still amazing! They are keeping the...tables clean and they have plastic partitions, which makes the table seating seem more private. One of the best establishments in San Diego.More
Came in for dinner and they’ve definitely set up the restaurant to ensure adequate social distancing. Staff was nice and responsive, but they were slammed so service was a little slow. Oysters were good, and so was the ahi tuna. My friend got the grilled...fish and got sick, but not sure what it was. Would come back as they get used to being reopened, but probably not for a while.More
We just stopped for a Bloody Mary snd pretzel balls. The Bloody Mary was very good it came with celery, bacon, green olive, lemon, lime and they make their own mix. It’s been a long time since I had a good tasting Bloody Mary and this was...very scrumptious. The pretzel balls were filling and served with mustard and cheese. Great tasting and matched Wonderfully with the Bloody Mary perfectly. Across the street is the beach So you can watch the surfers come in and the waves. Service was excellent!!More
This is the best place to be, hands down, when the sun goes down. They pass out "sundown shots", ring a bell and give a toast to the sun going down. So much fun and the most amazing view of the OB pier at sundown...(or anytime). Super friendly wait staff.More
Good view, not that great of an experience. There are a lot of places near there I was more impressed with.
Great views of Ocean Beach pier and surfers! The raw oysters and ceviche were excellent. I'd give 5 stars, but the noise level was too loud for my personal taste.
There are a few significant places to take guests from out of town and this is one of them. You can see from the pier all the way to La Jolla from this restaurant. Full menu, full bar, casual dress, Ocean Beach, beach right in...front of you, underground parking and killer sunset toasts each night.More
