Great place to have dinner. Not bad prices on the menu. We had some appetizers and drinks. Great variety on the menu as well as a pretty extensive wine list.

When we asked the concierge at our hotel where we should eat lunch while in Balboa Park, he said, "hands down, Prado". His recommendation was spot on! The service was excellent, the menu had a variety of options sure to satisfy and the view of the of the vines and arbors can't be beat. My mango iced tea glass was... More
Eating outdoors is a must here, under the arbors of vines, sunshine/shade. Wait service was exemplary with our water and soda glasses always full. The pork bahn mi sliders were presented on a light roll with perfect pork and fresh vegetables (4 for a portion). Fresh salmon was cooked to perfection. (this was on the "bar" menu) Spanish guitar background... More
Locals know this as an amazing experience. Combine high end food with to die for location and add the scenery and intimacy...that's the Prado.
This restaurant offers a very original menu that we found tasty, creative and original. Even the staples like tomato soup had a very original touch - an excellent balance between acidic and basic.
We are there twice on a recent visit to San Diego, once for lunch and another day for supper. The menu is a touch limited but the food is excellent, a little pricey but worth it. The atmosphere is wonderful and at night becomes magical.
Delicious food, excellent beverages and delightful customer service. In the center of the park, just steps from the Art Museum, Museum of Man and other sites. If it is busy, the meal is worth the wait.
This wonderful restaurant punches way above its weight. The fact it was in a 'park' sets low expectations but I was wrong. White table clothes... muted Spannish decor, great service and a great menu has us returning later in the week. We ordered a wide range of items from the menu and nobody would share suggesting they were all good.... More
Had lunch with spouse and two friends and the food was excellent and artfully arranged. I had the Chicken Cobb Salad and my wife and friend had the Chili Releno and the other friend had chopped chicken salad. One cannot make Chopped Chicken Salad look good but the other were nicely arranged. We also had the Chocolate Desert with Marshmallow... More
Excellent Fish tacos, Paella, and Sangria for lunch after the zoo. The deserts as well as service were also excellent. Attire seemed casual(tennis shoes and shorts) as well as business casual. Just a great surprise. Thank you!
