The best in service, food, drinks, chips and salsa. Great price, location ample parking and a food vibe. I make it a conscious decision to visit Miguel's cocina whenever we are in San Diego. 👍🏽✌🏽

We had lunch and a couple of beers at this restaurant. Service was excellent and the food was average.

The food at Miguel's Cocina was good but not exceptional. We enjoyed our food on the outdoor balcony which was very pleasant. The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs.

Miguel’s is a great spot for Mexican food when visiting Shelter Island. The portions are very generous and the food is delicious. Their tortilla chips are fresh, hot and crispy and they come with not only salsa, but delicious queso as well. My husband and I ended up splitting a shredded beef chimichanga, which was amazing. Nacho, the Head Bartender is always smiling and the $ 3.00 Pacifico's draft and the 3 street tacos for $ 4.00 with the chips and white sauce made me quite happy...but the T.J. hot dog for $ 2.50 is a must...

Miguel's is on our list of "boxes we need to check" every time we visit San Diego. It's a laid back, fun atmosphere with great valued- meals. Every time we eat here everyone obsesses over Miguel's queso dip!! There is none other like it!! "Imitation is the best form of flattery."

Miguel's is excellent. they have an amazingly tasting, very reasonably priced, happy hour, with excellent service, and even better tasting food. and, the drinks, OMG, the drinks, are even better. and, for even more of a treat, order from the main menu.

We all fight over the white sauce to dip our chips in. This is a must eat here establishment when you are in town! Make sure to get there early, it gets crazy busy on the weekends!
