For first dinner in San Diego I picked the Indigo Grill in Little Italy. It is part of the Cohn Restaurant group. Food is eclectic with dishes ranging from Korean Bibimbap, to Japanese Chirashi salad, to Chinese Kung Pao Calamari, to Mexican tamale to South American street food. All are fusion-type plates borrowed from different countries' cuisine. Very nice setting... More

I have now gone to Indigo for drinks and appetizers 3 times ... and it never disappoints. The margaritas are tops (and a generous pour); the small plates are varied and delicious (try the shrimp or the flatbread); and the prices can't be beat. Beyond that, the service is top-notch!! We love Carlos!! Run, don't walk to Indigo.

First the good. Food is excellent and plentiful. Lots of "small bites" that aren't really all that small, and you can make a meal out of them with such wonderful variety. Can't complain here, I think the restaurant is way too dark. Maybe they need to provide little lights for the menu or figure out a different way to print... More

While our server seemed to be having a bad day, we did not let her bring us down. The $3 tacos and sangria were both very good. The decor also added to a nice happy hour lunch.

We had a group of 9 that visited this incredible restaurant. Amy was an impressive server and did a great job taking care of us. The food was remarkable. Great flavors, well prepared and of the highest quality. Will definitely frequent again.

Such an interesting, diverse menu makes it difficult to choose! We started with the queso fundido, kung pao calamari, and lobster ceviche. For entrees, we had the special ribeye, the mahi ceviche tostada, the bass, and the seafood salad. Excellent choices all the way around. Outstanfing food with an interesting fusion of Asian, Latin, and seafood flavors.

Dined here with some colleagues and had an excellent evening. Great cocktails, wines and of course the food. We ordered every ceviche on the menu and they were all delicious. We ordered other dishes too and every dish was great. The service was good. It's not in the downtown area but is worth the short taxi ride.

I received a gift card and took my family to what I read was a really good restaurant. We were all really disappointed. They didn't have enough gluten free menus and we had to wait. The sangria came and it was bad, I ordered a rose and received a champagne glass of rose ish wine. Waitress later asked if I... More

Went in with a group from work. My food was excellent - ordered grilled tuna and it was very nice. Not a large portion but good. Others in the group also were happy with their food. The menu had everything from tacos to steaks to bibimbap. One of our guys got slammed by the waitress when he ordered a domestic... More

It was very busy when we got here but managed to get three seats at the kitchen. Was fun to see the food being prepared and experience the heat of the kitchen. Great drinks too.
