It's a small restaurant but full of activity and the staff makes this place worth your while... From recommending food to... More

We went after hearing multiple locals rave about this place. It is literally a walk up to and sit outside kind of venue next to a marina, but you have to fight for your parking place and then there is an actual booth in front of the restaurant asking for opinions on their parking problems. You are sitting next to... More

We visit San Diego several times a year. I have made a point of eating at Mitch's EVERY single time. However, on our last visit I was sadly disappointed. The quality was not as good, the service was not good, the portions weren't as large, the wait was 10 times as long; it was just all around a disappointment.

I was on my own and I wanted to try fresh seafood. I enjoyed walking along the quiet wharf at 11 am. I saw Mitch's and remembered reading good reviews. I thought about ordering take out, but then saw the nice bar with stools that ran along the back deck. It was a perfect place for a single to enjoy... More

We were in town and wanted to have some great seafood. The reviews brought us to Mitch's and they exceeded expectations. We had the Simply Grilled Halibut and it was delicious. The Ceviche was halibut and it was the best Ceviche I have ever had. The crab & avacado toast was a huge portion of crab on great toast and... More

We enjoyed the water seating, nothing fancy, like a marine spot for fishermen. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. The prices were quite expensive for such a hole in the wall kind of place.

Amazing food and a great selection of wine and beer! The view off the balcony kept us entertained for hours. Great place to while away the afternoon. Gets busy though so come early and stay late!

Stopped by just before the lunch hour crowd arrived. The service was quick and the food was delicious. Great Bayside eatery.

This was a gem we are so glad we found. Right in the harbor with the commercial and charter fishing fleets, this very casual seafood restaurant was amazing. We got the ceviche, fried shrimp, fish tacos, and fresh grilled shrimp. It was all excellent.
