This place has a long wait. It could go up to two hours so be aware but it's well worth it. I suggest for you to visit.

My husband and I have been going to HH in Hillcrest for years. Their food creations and drinks are always good and so fresh. We enjoy the cool ambiance as well. Come hungry b/c their portions are HUGE. Its always busy so we always get their between 7:30-8am....and even then there's already a line but the wait is totally worth... More

The portions are HUGE and it bothered me to have so much food go to waste. The food was very good, I'm pretty sure you could order anything off the menu and it would be great! Not the most kid-friendly atmosphere but they do have crayons and a menu to color.

The food was really good. The portions are HUGE! Not kidding! You would probably want to share. We sat at the bar and enjoyed talking to the bartender/server. We got the waffles and pancakes, eggs, bacon and potatoes. Everything was delicious.

Good food and somewhat worth the wait if your a tourist. It's a nice experience. I had the HH Original and shared it due to the sheer size. Tasty but dry. Needed more egg and less biscuit. Hubby did the 18 oz pork tenderloin. The pics dont do it justice - look at the bun size that tells you it's... More

Get there early on Sunday mornings if you don't want to wait. Food lives up to the hype- creative menu, very tasty, big portions. Two plates could easily serve four.

When we where in San Diego we has a friend recommend us this place. They were so right! I had the french toast and it was basically a monster tower of delicious french toast, So much I could not even come close to finishing it. My husband had Andy's sage fried chicken. It was an enormous plate. My husband has... More

Well the title says it all. 4 can eat with two plates and prices are ok since more than one eat with each plate. Each plate goes for around 15 to 20. The banana foster french toasts were amazing. The picture does not tells the story since we decided to pick everything separated. But you can see how big they... More

Big, wonderful portions. Be prepared to wait as there is usually a line on the weekend. Parking can be a bit difficult at peak hours. But t's worth it!
