We ate dinner here before seeing Lauryn Hill perform at Jacobs Music Center. Dinner was perfect from start to finish. My husband was thrilled with his Old Fashioned cocktail. Our salads, fish and duck dishes were beautiful. Our son eschewed the kids menu for the oysters and spot prawn dishes - loved it all. The manager came by to compliment... More

Went here for a birthday celebration and the server and chef made it special. The environmental was classy and tasteful with some great live music and warm informal atmosphere. They serve some interesting cocktails (most of which are a bit sweet ) and the food and wine were spectacular, rounded off with as specially decorated desert. The whole experience was... More

I like hash with eggs on top, and a few fried potatoes.for breakfast. I often order same at better hotels. I ordered it here and got a bowl of vegetable soup with 2 fried eggs on top, and a portion of beef shank underneath. What's this, says I. Hash...that's how we do it here. Yikes!

The US Grant Hotel, in the heart of downtown San Diego, you can find a great restaurant. They serve excelent dishes, and the cocktail bar is great too.

Delicious meal, well prepared and well served. friendly relatively quiet room with live jazz. Scallops and mock turtle soup were terrific. Fresh hot focaccia bread almost a dessert.

San Diego has many great eateries, catering to every taste. If you like to dine really high-end, with impeccable service, attentive wait-staff, and a good wine-list, I would highly recommend the Grant Grill. My wife started out with a seafood chowder, which was creamy and very fresh. I had the mock turtle soup, a recipe that has not changed for... More

The charm & hospitality shown to us by Umberto & Corey in the Grant Grill is world class. The restaurant & lounge, staffed by the best that hospitality has to offer, delighted our pallets in chambers set with cosmopolitan ambiance & subdued with an easy vibe. We ate here twice during our stay. We enjoyed the bar menu, craft drinks,... More

I had Mr. Alberto's special fall Apple Harvest festival tasting menu $82 with the optional wine and drink pairings. $39, Chef Mark Kropczynski has a well-earned reputation for excellence. This was an expensive meal, but if you're looking for a gourmet dining experience, the price is well worth it. The service is always friendly, and the food is always amazing.... More

We stayed at the hotel that is attached to this establishment. They have an amazing cocktail list and great service. We didn't dine here but the food looked amazing. It is close to the Opera. Definitely recommend to have an evening drink prior to dinner. The US Grant centennial manhattan was very good.
