My husband and I had our last meal of a 2 week vacation here, at the Grant Grill for two reasons- first-we had enjoyed the Happy Hour the previous night in the Lounge and second- uno advise from the concierge, who throughout our stay- were spot on! They were absolutely right. It was a fabulous meal- with much detail to... More

As a person who travels over a week a month on average, I've learned to be wary of many hotel restaurants. When I booked my stay at the US Grant, I wasn't sure what to expect. As a Luxury Collection Hotel, I know that most of their restaurants are quite pricey. Still, I had to check it out. First, I... More

The meal begins with a delicious homemade bread served in a round baking dish. The wait staff is very personable and helpful, make you feel so much at home. The menu is full of wonderful dishes, from prime steaks to delectable giant scallops. While this is not a place for pinching pennies, the experience is well worth the price. The... More

This is a beautiful spot in the Gaslamp district. Incredible ambiance and worth it just for that. But their mock turtle soup is the real draw -- it is a must!

Had $100 credit and had dinner. Food expensive, but not bad at all. Many great restaurants in area, but if you want to be lazy and are a hotel guest, not bad. I would not go there under ordinary circumstances. It was my birthday and they actually brought me a menu which said Happy Birthday on it. A nice touch.... More

We stopped here after dinner and were delighted. A creative cocktail menu and many very top shelf individual choices made for an interesting evening exploring the bar menu. Also had a nice flatbread and a wonderful carrot cake. A jazz quartet and really friendly, knowledgeable servers rounded out a great night.

We dined here w/8:30pm reservations on a Friday night. The wait staff was so considerate of our dietary restrictions (vegetarian for one of us/gluten free for both of us) and provided impeccable service from drinks to the end of our meal! The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. We loved the live music & singer that provided the perfect... More

The Wait staff was kind, friendly, helpful, aware, and so responsive. The chef was considerate. I honestly haven't had a better Hotel Dining experience. I had such a fantastic experience. The Serve a bread that was the chef's mothers recipe. Such a lovely touch.
