High quality fish and the ambiance is lovely and so is the view. We were able to get a reservation with no difficulty and best of all they honored it rather promptly.

Beautiful view and very good seafood. Don't fear this restruant because of its tourist location right on the bay next to the USS Midway. Come as you are with formal dining upstairs and casual dining down stairs.

The soups here are so fresh and tasty. The best clam chowder ever! The menu was also filled with so many different types of fishes. I got to try fishes I've never had before. A little pricey but worth it.

I visited this before it burned. The restaurant had a deck out over the bay that if you got there early enough in the evening you could eat on. You could watch bay traffic as you ate. The oysters are very fresh, they often have unusual fish specials, and everything is fresh and very tasty.

I had asked the hotel to recommend a great seafood restaurant and they sent me to the fish market. A group of had lunch on the deck above the bay waters and it was fantastic. A sea lion was playing in the water off of the deck while we were there along with many sea birds. We had calamari which... More

I found the Fish Market during a visit to Seaport Village in San Diego. Upon arrival, I was very excited by the atmosphere and the sunset view. The large seating area is well configured to provide most tables with a nice waterfront view. Service was immediate and very friendly. The hardwood surfaces make the restaurant loud, which is what I... More

We stopped for a late lunch after visiting the USS Midway. We had a 15 minute wait to sit in the glass enclosed, over the water area. Other tables were available for immediate seating. The views were simply amazing. We watched a regatta, navy vessels, tour boats and sea lions! The clam chowder (New England) was some of the best... More

I've been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both meals were very good and the service was great. The menu offers a wide selection of food, both for seafood lovers and those that would rather have beef or chicken. The calamari appetizer, sushi, and fresh fish were all very good. I have no qualms about going back... More
