The desserts here are way too big for one person, but it's so good you can't stop eating! Pricier than I would normally spend for a slice of cake, but definitely worth the splurge.

I had read the great reviews about this place while researching restaurants for my San Diego trip on Trip Advisor. The reviews do not do justice to the high calibur of culinary delights that this place creates. We were in San Diego for 5 days and visited Extraordinary Desserts three time. Even stopped on our last day and bought a... More

You can only get desserts and coffee here, but it is worth a visit. Every offering is a work of art, with fresh flowers as garnish. I had the banana cream tart with loads of dark chocolate. Yum! And the coffee was Kona, so no complaints there either. Inside and outside seating is available, and the line can be quite... More

deep, rich, creamy and impossible to finish in one sitting. I thought the tiramisu cake was really great. hard to order because everything looks so damn good! chai late was a powder mix and not fresh spice mix like the cashier had said. moral of the story is don't believe the cashier, ask the barrista!

We tried the fruit Napoleon and the raspberry cupcake and both were delicious and attractive. I really appreciated that the cupcake wasn't overly sweet. I would have been fine with a smaller serving size but it makes sharing easy.

The desserts are so artistic, I almost didn't want to eat mine! I came with my mom and sister who were visiting from out of town. They were impressed with the selection and the atmosphere. We loved our selections, and will definitely be visiting again.

Beautiful presentation that you (almost) don't want to destroy by eating. Problem solved by taking a photo before consuming:) Expensive, but good for an occasional splurge; lucky I don't live in San Diego, so I just partake once in a while when visiting my daughter. The offerings are mostly too rich to eat in one sitting; share, or box up... More

The fare was too sweet. Compared to the same desserts in cafes and boutique bistros where originals can be found in Germany, Austria, France, and Switzerland, there is simply no comparison. It is like thinking that industrial chocolate (e.g. UK Cadbury's) is comparable to fresh Belgium chocolate.

Must be seen to be believed! You've never seen cakes like these... you won't want to cut into art work like this.

Something for everyone...but save up your tooth fairy money, cause your sweet tooth here will need some cash.
