In Seaport Village this is a better bookshop than a Cafe. Basic coffee and cakes. Good place to sit drink and read.

Seaport Village is unique. Upstart Crow is delightful. Along with shopping you walk San Diego Harbor taking in the salt air, marveling at the blue waters and wondering where all the money came from to buy thee hundreds of yachts in the slips.

A fun place to visit especially if you want to enjoy a tea or coffee in an atmosphere that is not the typical chain. It's close to the water and atmosphere of the area is delightful.

I so wish we had this in my town! The atmosphere was amazing, coffee was good and so was the food. Lots of fun gift items and books!

A nice little bookstore with lesser found items (not necessarily books). There is a coffee shop inside too. It was a bit stuffy, didn't have the best airflow inside, but still a must see in this area.

I started a couple of my mornings in San Diego with coffee and breakfast goody at Upstart Crow. Absolutely charming and I felt free to take my time, eat, read, and get a positive start on the day! Food was yummy and good value.

Any time we are in San Diego, we always walk through Seaport Village and stop at the Upstart Crow. Their coffees and pastries are delicious. We love browsing through the bookstore and looking at their selection of books and unusual gift items. It's a very charming shop in a very charming area of San Diego.

Wonderful Cafe Mocha, but then that's redundant!!! This is a delightful bookstore with a little bit of everything. It seems as the years have past it has turned more into a coffee shop/ gift store, but never the less, it is still delightful. Many quirky gifts that are lots of fun and quite unique. They had what looked to be... More

You name it, the Crow sells it. Packed full of interesting stuff, books, gifts and much more. Spent a couple of hours here just poking around then settled for coffee and cakes, which were brilliant. Recommended.

After a five day conference in the centre of San Diego we decided to spend a few days relaxing before heading home. Our one bedroom suite(we'd call it a villa)had a totally enclosed outdoor fireplace and plunge pool which provided maximum privacy. The villa itself was spacious with a very large bathroom that had all the bells and whistles...right down to a...
