Awesome huevos rancheros. Sat at a plastic table outside. Not the greatest atmosphere but it was fine. Nice breakfast menu.

Service was great. Love the vibe. My kinda place for breakfast, non chain! I had an omelette, it was very tasty.

Food taste great, portions are HUGE, well priced also. This is the food from my child hood (*late 60's early 70's). I would recommend this if you enjoy home cooked type meals.

Well, here I am again. Perhaps you will see a pattern to my reviews-- A lot of excellence. Well, mom always said to only say things that benefited all concerned... and also, why bother writing about something unless it is something you want to remember and share with others. The owner, Judy "the beauty on duty", has been in San... More

Casual, eclectic restaurant with great Sunday brunch. Weekend jazz musician entertains guests on front sidewalk. Tables on back patio are quiet. Funky little South Park neighborhood in San Diego.

My uncle lives in South Park and I make it a habit to eat at Big Kitchen when I visit. They offer a great brunch menu and have outdoor patio seating as well. A lot of locals love this place and for good reason! The food is delicious and the service is friendly. I love the mexican style omelet served... More

Amazing breakfast and the culture is the coolest! Being a biscuits and gravy snob such as myself, I was apprehensive to try them but so glad that I did! Delicious! My favorite was Damien's Big Burrito. Such fresh flavors with the tomatoes and avocado. YUM! Loved meeting everyone at the BK!

Great food and atmosphere. The waitresses are fun to talk to and the food is great. I like strong coffee and this is the place to find it. They served fresh squeeze orange juice, too, which I really appreciate. I always order their waffle and eggs (so delicious and yummy).

This place is a gem in so many ways, the feel and attention is well intended grandmotherly love. The place needs serious renovation and the food is really bad. Very big portions of low quality food.
