We were here for a family banquet dinner. My party was the first to show, and at first they couldn’t find our reservation under the name I had given. The gentleman finally spotted our timeslot after meticulously going through their notebook – apparently, whoever took the reservation never wrote down our name and noted only the phone number. He led... More

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. The sticky rice had virtually nothing inside it. You have limited options on the cart. Mostly you have to special order. The food was not cooked well and the taste was not the best. I tried their Chinese broccoli, shrimp balls, steamed pork buns, sticky rice, red bean fried sesame balls. Didn't have beef noodle... We went to Jasmine for dim sum.they have the traditional carts off dim sum that goes around. It is very popular and the line starts growing quite early do be prepared to wait. The food is pretty standard and is decent by San Diego standards. However be warned that there is no good Chinese food around here

I had never had Dim Sum. It was my first time. Restaurant looked really clean. They sat us down pretty quick and starting bringing food in carts ASAP. I went with a friend that ordered all the food for me. The food looked very authentic. Employees seemed very serious but got the job done. I'm sad that I don't know... More

This is a large restaurant with traditional dim sum. My husband is half Chinese and only wants dim sum off carts. On Sunday if you aren't there by 10:30 am you'll be waiting quite a while. It's better to go later if you can wait til they are closer to closing. The choices are great with most of the best... More

Best dimsum around! Great service and great food! We have been to other places and hands down this is the ONE! Come early to avoid long waits on weekends.

I have been to this restaurant almost every year I visited friends in the San Diego area. They serve the traditional Cantonese style seafood which is the best among all Chinese regional foods. This time, for the three of us, we ordered two lobsters in ginger and scallion sauce, a big steamed fish ( not sure.. Red Cod?) and sugar... More

First piece of advice, get there early. We arrived at 1115 (they open at 11) and had to wait a half hour. Not a problem at all. We were there for lunch so we could experience the dim sum and it was totally worth it. Some of the best eggs rolls I have ever had. I was seriously impressed at... More

Went to have Dim Sum and a recent night only to discover it is only served for lunch. They have a few Dim Sum items on the dinner menu and we tried 3 of them. For the most part there were OK. I imagine the Dim Sum is better during the lunch serving time. We order the fried chicken which... More

Wanted to give Jasmine Chinese a try after reading the reviews. Stopped in solo on night after working and ordered three main dishes with a plan to have Chinese leftovers the next day. I ordered General Tso's Chicken, Chicken Lo Mein, and Chinese Broccoli. The service was reasonably quick, no complaints there but the attitude was awful. I ordered $55... More
