Our daughter and son in law took us there while visiting them and our first grand baby Johnny! Atmosphere great! All Italians working there with the accents. I had ravioli, great, husband had pizza, you will never taste pizza like this anywhere else unless you go to Italy or my grandmas house!

My wife and I checked out this local Italian joint on one of the evenings of our honeymoon. It was great! The restaurant was packed, but we were able to be seated inside pretty quickly. Our sever was Italian and endearingly asked "if we could understand his accent". He was great throughout the entire meal; he was prompt in taking... More

This past weekend my wife and I went out on a double date with some good friends. Our friends had been there before but we had not. Unfortunately they don't take reservations (highly recommended) for groups under 6 and thus we had to wait around an hour. When we were called there was a mix up, we spoke up, and... More

This is an authentic family owned Italian Resturant that is in the South Park neighborhood. A little difficult to find, but well worth it... The daily specials are great, but sell out quickly... Everything from Pizza to Pasta to Osso Bucco....and desserts that are fabulous.. We had the daily special "Pizza"... ricotta stuffed crust with buffalo mazzarello, yellow tomatoes, and... More

Pro: Food is good, the pizzas are (for american standarts) extraoridinary. Owner seems nice. Con: Service is rushed, atmosphere nothing special (outside), rather boring neighborhood. Asked for daily pizza without tuna; what they did is just taking the tuna away from the pizza, some pieces and the taste remained (not cool if you don't like tuna). The sangria is poor.

Tasty and reminded me of places in Italy. The pizza is awesome. I love veggies, so I went for the Augusta. Delicious! Then we shared the ricotta mascarpone cheesecake (they had me at ricotta!!). Naturally we ordered the house red wine, as pizza needs a wine friend;) Looking forward to our next visit here already.

Family of 10 (2 seniors, 3 kids and adults) went there at exactly 5pm when they opened. We were hoping to have an inside seating area but they were all reserved. The outside seating area with shade was already occupied. We were left with tables under the sun. Inspite of this, our group decided to try the place. We were... More

Friends invited us to join them at this neighborhood gem. No reservations and long wait time- more than worth it. We walked to a brewery on the corner for a drink while waiting. The pizza in a jar is a great starter for anyone who wants pizza and an entree too. It's big enough to share and still eat an... More

I've lived in San Diego for ten years. Always looking for good Italian food. The San Diego palate for Italian food has left a lot to be desired. I grew up in Connecticut, lived in New York, New Jersey, San Francisco, Ohio and Orange County. This is by far the one of the very best, most authentic Italian restaurant in... More
