Seriously hidden, no sign, we walked right past it, but really glad we went back. Excellent pita sandwiches. The pita itself was fantastic, my falafel was so good, not over fried like you often find. Really nice tahini sauce, super messy and delicious! My husband said the meat and tzaziki in his gyro were awesome as well. Sweet, family run... More

I love this place. As an east coaster it's not often I find sub places that compare to the sub shops in NYC. This place does it right the bread is fresh and the Sami is done just the way I like it.

It's a small little shop and a cute family owns and runs the restaurant. They were very nice and it didn't take too long to get our food. While we were waiting we saw them being the food out to those who came before us and we knew it would be good. The food presentation was great! Looks so pretty... More

My parents and I enjoyed a meal from Vanoos which is in walking distance to their condo on Pacific Beach. It's a small restaurant, very casual, with 6-10 tables/plastic chairs. I had the chicken shwarma salad, which was HUGE and had pickles, tomatoes, french fries right on the salad, and tahini dressing. It sounds weird but it's delicious! I highly... More

We enjoyed take out from Vanoos Grillette twice this week while visiting the Pacific Beach area. The storefront is casual, unassuming and looks more like a small deli. Well don't be mistaken, this is by far the best Greek food in the area. The dishes are excellent, substantially oversized and very generously priced. The family owned setting matches the homemade... Too much food!!! But oh so amazing! We stopped in for a quick bite on a Sunday afternoon stroll. Just looking for a quick sandwich. I got the Little Italy and he got the Roast Beef with Mushrooms... Both were awesome. We also got the fries with gravy and the hummus. So good! So worth it!

This place is all fresh - they make up the food after you order it. This trip I ordered the ROMA sandwich. It was fantastic (an insalata caprese salad on a delicious roll).

We stopped here for an early lunch one Sunday. The gyros and shawarma hot sandwiches were big and very good. Service was quick and friendly. It is a small storefront with limited seating, but it was not too busy. Highly recommended.

Delicious food and amazing portions. They have a delicious Falfel sandwich. Probably the best sandwiches in the area.
