My daughters and I love coming to Nordy’s Cafe. Their Tomato Basil Soup is wonderful. This time I tried the Chicken Ceaser Salad which was really nice. My daughter had the same soup and a Chicken Lime Cilantro Salad which she just loves. Service is...great here and they are always so friendly.More

I normally give this cafe good reviews. But today....was not very good. When I got in line to order NO ONE else was in front of me...I was about to order when an elderly woman got in front of me. One of the employees, a...young man with glasses asked, "Who is next?" I said, "I am next." He looked at the woman and told me in a semi rude way that she had been in line earlier..so he took her order first. HOW RUDE!!!! If you leave a line...then you lose your place in line.. in my opinion. I am a very assertive person and I would have said something quickly but because she was elderly I kept my mouth shut. I ordered food to go and waited in the dining area until my food was ready. Everything was fine, but I ordered a sandwich with potato chips. I have no idea why the chips were in the same container with the sandwich..when I got home the chips were not edible..they were soggy. Anyhow, before I left I went back to speak to him (politely) and told him I did not appreciate his tone. He did apologize, but frankly I felt it was more of an obligation on his part. Will I return? Yes, the other servers/employees were polite. If this particular employee is rude to me again...I will complain to their manager.More

Nordstrom's has long been known for their delicious chocolate chip cookies, pastries, and frothy hot beverages. Nordstrom's signature tomato basil soup is dipped well with the parmesan, lightly buttered, crisp crustinis. The crustinis can navigate through braces and does not tear the roof of your...mouth. We all know that Nordies let's you do it your way. Thin crust balanced seasoned pizza sauce, order one just because. Does the menu read seared salmon? Ask for blackened is the menu grilled chicken. Ask for shrimp. Wanna switch your mix lettuce to romaine? Poof, done da da. Fresh salads are prepared openly. I recommend a blackened salmon or blackened shrimp Caesar salad delightful. A variety of dishes are served from steak, seafood, pork chops and Vegan. Don't forget to add champagne or wine to your dish. Not in the dish. On the side of course. Recommended for families. My 8 year old and I have been dining here since she was 4, twice a month on Sundays. She loves being catered to and the Nordstrom staff feeds her princessa ego. Inviting alternative for first dates or couples in general. In fact, catch a dinner at Nordies and a flick. Kid friendly. Golden age friendly. All attire allowed except nudity and bikinis. Then no one would be paying attention to the food, lol. Nordies is in the Fashion Valley mall that also has a cinema theater. Bus, trolley, car, Uber and Lyft accessibility. The trolley and bus stop at this malls location. Nordies Cafe in UTC infrequently has the infamous tomato basil soup because it is an upscale bistro/restaurant with trendy food combinations... And a full bar. Go Nordies. Can you celebrate a birthday here? Probably. But no one will send you a song. Or if you requested it at Nordies they probably would. I would say a group of 12 or less is best. Always tip your waitperson. Your bill is paid separately from the service. Gratuity and kindness are friends.More

I really love this place. The employees are efficient and friendly. My husband, granddaughter and I had lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was a good visit. We had the Kids Grill cheese/soup, the Grilled Shrimp Corn Arugula salad (my husband loves this salad)....Roma Tomato Basil...soup, a bottle of San Pellegrino, 2 glasses of wine, and a carrot cake. Total was about 66.00..kind of expensive but worth it. Our server Jose was great. I highly recommend this place...I would not go anywhere else in the mall for food.More

I love the Nordstrom Cafes. I’ve been to many of them in cities on both coasts and in between (Nashville, Tennessee). They are consistently good. After shopping for a couple hours and skipping breakfast I needed to sit and was hungry. The salads offered at...this cafe are outstanding - so much so I had trouble figuring out which one I wanted. The lime cilantro chicken salad with sweet corn was a great choice - and I watched it made in front of me. It was fantastic! The process at a Nordstrom Cafe is easy. Place your order and if your selection needs cooking it will be brought out to you by one of several waitstaff who also clear dishes and bring anything you may need. I love that the plates, cutlery, and glassware is of such great quality. The whole dining experience there is just great. Lunch was just the fuel I needed. Highly recommend this option for shoppers! \More
