I don't like or eat fish or seafood but husband loves a place like this. I was hoping for at least a chicken sandwich but only fish. I took a chance on a Red Snapper wrap since it had pico de gallo, avocado and lettuce. Truly, I never tasted fish in this wrap and it was delicious. Who knew? It... More

Excellent choose for good, fresh seafood at a reasonable price. Several nice draft beers on tap. Order at the counter. Choose your fish and style. Grilled, fried, sandwich style... plus chowders and seafood stew. Always delicious

First off the flour tortillas are the way to go when you order tacos here. They are far superior to the corn in our opinion. We only had fish tacos while here so that is all I can speak for. Secondly, the special taco was by far our favorite. At the time it was an ono taco with the key... More

Stopped in at the fish shop while I was in San Diego. The system is cool. You pick your fish, then the seasoning and then how you want it. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. The fish tacos were terrific. Stop by when your in town. Close to the pier and the beach.

Hokey local place that still serves and great fish taco. You choose the fish (halibut, yellowtail, sea bass, albacore, etc) as well as the marinade. Plenty of IPA choices, and delicious chips and salsa. $1 oysters on Thursday afternoon. Worth a stop even if you have stand in line to order and the place is kinda funky.

Fresh fish, fresh vegetables, six grain rice well cooked. The place is nice, inside and outside. They have a good selection of beers too. Very good

I have had fish tacos all up and down Baja Mexico, the tacos at The Fish Shop in Pacific Beach are spot on. I've eat here many times and never am I disappointed. Inside/outside tables, Casual dining, order at the counter, kid friendly, dog friendly outside. Always busy, friendly staff. Get your fix here!!

They have the best fish tacos, especially if they have the local halibut in stock. If not the mahi mahi tacos as also excellent. They offer a variety of marinades too and a choice of corn or flour tortillas. The prices are good for such fresh fish. The fish sandwich is okay as well.

Every time I'm any where even close, this is the only place I go to! I always have their Ahi seared with a salad and brown rice and it is absolute perfection every time!

Thank Dany Z
