I can't say anything BAD about this place, but I went there because my nephew raved about it, and all I can say is it was ok. The place was packed, you had to wait on line to place your order at a counter. When it was ready, someone did bring it over to your table. Was the food bad?... More

Very casual fun spot that serves absolutely delicious fresh seafood. Shrimp tacos are the best I had in San Diego - just make sure to order more than one! Definitely reccomend anyone to visit.

This place was super crowded even at 9:15 pm. I know why - it's totally worth standing in line. You stand in a line and order at the counter, grab a number, and grab a seat. They have a decent beer selection and wine by the bottle. We had the shrimp and chips plate subbed with rice, fish shop stew,... More

fresh fish and great place to enjoy a real fish dinner. We had sashimi, lobster tacos, smoked fish chowder, and fish and chips. Everything was delicious....did I mention lumpia? WHOA! great stuff.

I will always have a place in my heart for the Fish Shop in PB. The atmosphere is welcoming, and despite the lines to order your food everyone is happy and pleasant to one another. The staff is cordial and helpful despite the long lines. The lines reflect the quality of the fish served and at all price points. A... More

We were looking for good fish taco and a few people recommended this place. The fish tacos were $5 each. The flavors were really good, but we had to look for the fish in our tacos. It was like they took a small filet and split it between 3 or 4 tacos. Not what we expected for the money. If... More

This was our 2nd time to eat at the Fish Shop Pacific Beach. It is so casual (dogs permitted on the patio). So many options on ways to experiment with seafood. For example, I love cerviche. Beer and wine - but you can bring a bottle and no corkage fee. I had never had it with shrimp AND a delicious... More

This is so good and so reasonable. It's small and you have to wait in line to order (people bring your food to the tables), but everything is delicious. You can build your own taco and pick the seasoning, the extras, the sauces. It's so much fun! I would highly recommend!

There is a large choice of different fish to use for your tacos. Then there is a large choice of sauces/ styles for the fish to be cooked. We tried several types and all were excellent.
