These guys had fast and efficient service. Family style meals served. The food was authentic Thai and it was quite tasty.

Sab-E-Lee is established itself as a restaurant for Thai Isaan (Northeastern) dishes. Many items on the menu of general Thai restaurants that classified as appetizers or starters are generally main dishes for Isaan food. Just keep in mind, when you order papaya salad or spicy minced pork of chicken, you will get a huge portion here. Isaan food is generally... More

I remember Sab-E-Lee when it was a hole-the-wall with three tiny tables and two ladies cooking behind a curtain. Their three current locations have a modern and clean look and the food is just as original as before. My favorites: spicy raw beef, beef jerker and all the curries. Really you can't go wrong here. Note that a level four... More

This Thai restaurant was recommended to us by a Thai friend as the best Thai restaurant in San Diego. It is very good, but I am still looking for the truly standout Thai restaurant. It is likely one of the best, most of the people eating here were definitely oriental.

This place is the best I've had since Thailand, it is not fancy, it does not take credit card. The food is flavorful, original Thai. The service is friendly, fast. Highly recommended.

I used to frequent the smaller location on Ulric. I have to say I liked the food better back in the day. This was my first visit to this location. I had a take out of the spring rolls, duck larb and eggplant. The spice level was #2 and flavorful but not too spicy. I just thought the flavor was... More

If you are looking for Thai food, this is the perfect place to grab a bite for lunch or to enjoy dinner. Besides the fact that their food is the best the service is extremely friendly and helpful. You can never go wrong with the Pad Thai, yellow curry w/sticky rice and a glass of Thai tea or Thai coffee.... More

We recently visited the restaurant during our trip to San diego. We are vegetarians and had ordered yellow curry, veg fried rice, egg rolls. The service was quick and the food came pretty fast. The presentation was neat and we were awww'd by the fried rice that we ordered another plate. Loved the bright ambience and music. The waitress was... More

My family loves this place. The food is always great. Everything on the menu is good. Good place to eat if you are vegetarian or gluten free.

The food here is awesome. I guaranteed you that this is as original Thai food as you going to get without going to Thai versus some other watered down , Americanized Thai restaurants. Highly recommended. Food is great, price is very competitive.
