Stopped here for breakfast on our way to the Cabrillo Lighthouse in Point Loma. Nice little local eatery serves great breakfast at affordable prices. We split an omelette with toast and country potatoes. Very generous portions were plenty for both of us and quite good....Not a big place but comfortable. Decor, table and chairs are very simple but nice.More

To each his/her own. Friends have told me that Hash House a Go-Go would be the place to be when it came to breakfast, but for me, the Menu is the spot. I lived in Pacific Beach, right around the corner on Promontory Street, so...I'm probably biased having eaten here so many times, but I love the food, I love the service, I love the location. I just visited SD for a family vacation and while our itinerary did not allow for a sit-down breakfast, I made it a point to head over and grab a couple take out orders. I last ate at the Menu 7 years ago and it's still one of my favorite breakfast joints. I still love everything about it and will continue stopping by on every visit until it either closes, or my doctor demands that I stop eating breakfast meats for the sake of my high blood pressure...More

Perfect for a reasonably priced breakfast. Plenty of choices as well as daily specials. Parking is on the street and there can be lines on the weekend.

Good service, local restaurant, great menu, affordable. The restaurant offers also mimosas and a good selection of American and Mexican items in the menu. I ordered a breakfast torta ; a big sandwich with scramble eggs. It was really good.

We had breakfast here on our first morning in San Diego because we walk from our condo. It was wonderful! The coffee was smooth and tasty, the owner and staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was great. My husband and one of our...daughters had the Memorial Day special, our older daughter had french toast, and I ordered the pancake platter our server recommended. The sausage was the best of the meats we tried. We'll probably go back before our vacation is over.More

My friend and I were pleasantly surprised to find that they offer omelettes in one egg, two egg, three egg Etc varieties. Most restaurants make their omelettes too large for the average female appetite. She ordered a 2 egg omelette and said it was tasty...and just the right amount of food. I had the granola crusted French toast which was the most delicious thing I have ever eaten for breakfast!More

Everything we had read or heard about The Menu restaurant was too modest. It was beyond question one of the best breakfasts my wife & i have ever had at a restaurant. She had a perfectly prepared Eggs Benedict & had the Super Bowl special...which included a steak, eggs, hash browns, salsa & toast. Both were delicious and were recommended by delivered by Kara, our waitress, who was very friendly, efficient and professional. I would recommend The Menu to my family and friends!!!!More

Visiting San Diego with my wife, adult children and grandchildren, we had Brunch at The Menu. Everything was excellent. Great food, great service and the prices were reasonable. The Granola crusted French Toast was to die for. There Mediterranean Scramble was a very good heart...healthy alternative.More
