Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. The wait staff are cordial and friendly. Tonite I had the Salmon with mushrooms ragout..The salmon was done to perfection, just rare in the middle and crusty on the top. The lama Wine blend from Argentina was just soft enough and fruity to be an excellent pairing with the salmon. Close by SDSU, I... More

We went there on a recommondation of the receptionist from our hotel and that was the best decision ever! We were immediatelly seated and given the menu and a wine menu. We were served water which was refilled whenever a glas was empty, and given malt bread with butter which was delicious! My brother and father ordered the ribs, my... More

Wifey and I went her for dinner last Saturday night. Immediately seated and brought drinks and bread. Excellent waiter. Very professional, soft spoken, courteous, and helpful. TRY THE BRUSSEL SPROUT SALAD. YUM!! Will be returning soon.

This was a great place. Food, service and ambiance was excellent. They do take reservations. The chicken flatbread pizza was yummy. Its a tiny place but worth it. Parking is limited. The staff checks with you about parking to make sure you won't be towed.

The only reason I didn't give it an excellent rating is because my husband's chicken pot pie was mostly crust. Not enough meat, veggies and gravy. Also, I ordered a side salad and didn't get it until I asked after my entree was served. I had the crab stuffed trout and there was enough for two meals.

We came here tonight to sample the menu in preparation for a bridal shower next month. There wasn't a bad taste in all the dishes we ordered which included: the... More

Local restaurant with fantastic food and great entertainment. Wine selections creative and diverse - items you don't see in bigger restaurants. Cozy atmosphere and friendly knowledgeable staff. Desserts are crazy decadent!

Needed a nice place for a pre-concert dinner at Viejas Arena. Web search was loaded with fast food options so Bistro Sixty seemed like the best choice. Food was good but not outstanding...so if you're a foodie, beware. We all enjoyed our entrees and appetizers, including calamari, fried cheese curds, and brussel sprouts. Also enjoyed the happy hour wine selections.... More

We arrived at a very busy time in a group of six people. The staff handled the situation as though we were their only diners. Their professional manner was overwhelmingly obvious ! Oh, the food....superb. A really delightful experience. If all our dinning experiences were half this good we would never again complain about a restaurant.. Also, the atmosphere was... More

Great food prepared by people who care. Great people and a fantastic wine bar! Started as dessert bar and has expanded to a really good bistro.

Bistro Sixty began as San Diego Desserts, a wholesale bakery in 1999, providing desserts to local restaurants, hotels and other venues. In 2008 we wanted to make a deeper connection to our neighbors, so we added a few tables to the front of the store so people in the neighborhood could enjoy a dessert here in the restaurant, or buy some to take home. Soon after we added restaurant seating, we added bistro food to our menu. The new menu was well received and in 2009 we expanded to include patio dining and began offering wine to complement our bistro food. Our goal is to provide a fun, relaxing environment where you can enjoy food, friends and wine in a safe, comfortable environment. For us, the thing we love about bistro sixty is that it's like having you over to our home. Maybe that's why our neighbors and guests are so important to us-and over the years we've come to know them as friends.
