Our meals were delicious. The serving were adequate - not large. The service was first class. And the views of the bay and sky line were magnificent. The prices are tad high, but not outrageous. This is not your everyday eatery, but for a fancy night out, don't miss this place.

My wife and I had a delicious evening meal at Bali Hai. We both had the delicious Honey Cashew Shrimp and split a dish of Thai Brussels Sprouts with Chinese sausage - excellent. Before the meal we each had a very good Gilligan's Island mixed drink. Elevated view of the harbor is especially nice at sunset. Having eaten there many... More

Wonderful Happy Hour in the bar area between 3 and 4pm. Live music and great selection of appetizers and drink specials.

Bali Hai is a funny looking Polynesian themed bar and restaurant. It offers a beautiful view of the bay with downtown Sandiego in the distance. Their cocktails are very good and so is the food I tried. Unfortunately it can get very crowded and noisy here and if you are only stopping by for a drink you won't be able... More

We've been there before but this review is for the Sunday brunch. This was one of the best Sunday brunches I've been to. Custom omelette , pho and stir fry cooked for you. Mountain of crab legs. Prime Rib just to name some of the highlights. The champagne keeps flowing. As an added bonus, this is the birthplace of the... More

Wow, there were four of us and decided to stop in for a mai tai or something. Well one would be good for 4 people. It was so strong that have way through I needed a nap. They are known for this cocktail but it straight booze. Get the mix (a large glass of it) on the side to continue... More

Unusual Polynesian theme. Sunday buffet 38 $. Good buffet. Crab legs, various meats including roast beef. Stir fry options. Salads. Free champagne; a glass – meaning you get a glass & as long as you keep emptying it they keep filling it. Be warned if you are driving! Circular building with at 270 degree round vision of the bay. Watch... More

We had dinner here during Restaurant week. The food was high quality and the service is top notch. The view is beautiful at sunset. The Cityscape in the background is great! This place is right on the water. Parking is plentiful also.

All in all, it was acceptable is what I am going to say. Not overly impressed for the price we paid. 3 of us went one evening on vacation last week. First off, it said it was a single $ on Foursquare, that was a little of a lie. It is fairly pricy, but that is not why I am... More

We chose to have our last dinner in San Diego at Bali Hai after my friend's recommendation. Unfortunately we missed the sunset but were able to dine outside and enjoy the band that was playing for a benefit. Our waiter Victor was so wonderful!!! He was so courteous and nice! He gave us a tour of the restaurant provided a... More
