Met some friends for happy hour - well we didn't really know they had one till we got there but it was a good surprise. They have a pretty good selection of handrolls, actually they selection is quite big. Some are pretty out there and some normal ones you'll find at most sushi places. Their hot plates are also pretty... More

I took the family of 4 to ebisu and found some great options for all. The kids went for some gyoza and California rolls. The adults went for a variety of items. My personal favorites were the tuna and eggs and the scallops from the special menu. Surprisingly, the scallops from the regular menu were a miss.

Small. Quiet. Happy hour was great with good prices. Our server was wonderful. Very friendly and attentive. I have special dietary restrictions and she was able to make the necessary substitutions to our nigiri and roll orders to accommodate. Fish was fresh and choices were plenty.

Came here based on reviews and wanted to try a different sushi place than our usual. Waitress was courteous and friendly but she was so soft spoken we could barely hear what she was saying to us. The place wasn't noisy and I don't have a hearing problem so seriously please speak up next time. Menu was interesting. A lot... More

Sushi here was good. We were in the mood for it today and it was one of the places that was open for lunch. The Poki salad was delicious as well as the other rolls we had.

Seem like folks either love this place or hate it. We liked it pretty well. We were a party of three on a Saturday night, so I was surprised we were seated and served as quickly as we were. The ambiance was dark and nice for a Saturday night dinner. I had a yummy Moscow Mule of some kind -... More

We went with friends, who all had the sushi and loved it! I'm not a sushi person, so had a salad, which was very tasty. It's a low-key kinda place, good for friends, and laughter, and just having a good time.

The owner and executive sushi chef takes a personal interest in the quality of not just the fish, but the overall presentation. One sushi chef, small sushi bar...but that was just fine. We really enjoyed our meal and were very happy with everything we were given. It was a surprise to get tempura fried squash blossoms, so that was a... More

This is one of my top 5 sushi restaurants in San Diego? It's a small dimly lit little restaurant right off the busy Hillcrest main drags of Robinson and 6th Ave. I think the subdued lighting makes a statement though, especially if it's date night. The appetizer menu has a nice selections including a raw oyster menu. The oyster shooter... More
