It looks quite small and casual from the outside, and in a trending new area of East Village but not near anything notable so we were expecting good steak house. First surprise, it's very large inside. Large comfy booths, even a private room. Combination of people entertaining for business (Convention Center is very close) and locals like us. Service is... The presentation of the restaurant is magnificent, beautiful decor and excellent seating. The service was impeccable, knowledgeable attentive and engaging. The food was delicious, a great variety and beautifully cooked and presented. Expect to pay for all this but well worth it.

I was dining solo, so the hostess recommended a seat overlooking the chef's prep area. It was incredible! This restaurant truly is exquisite in every way. Please treat yourself to the Pineapple Panacea cocktail - it's worth every dollar! The service was exceptional, and the food was incredible! I started with the salad - wow! And, the sea bass is... We had heard about it for a long time, but had never been. We went to celebrate my birthday and we had great wine, great cocktaias, outstanding service and couldn't have had a better time!

Had a business meeting in San Diego and this place was recommended by the bartender at the hotel. The skirt steak was outstanding, as well as the Brussel sprouts and other veggies. The service was also outstanding.

Went during restaurant week, great food, location, menu and service. Open floor plan and kitchen with a variety of seating options. A interesting menu that included bison, bone marrow and grass fed beef just to mention a few items.

I went here for lunch. The food was amazing, service was perfect, not super expensive. I also liked how small the place is so it doesn't get too loud.

The first review I ever did on this restaurant was the food was excellent but the service was not as expected. I'm happy to say after several more visits, including dinner recently at the kitchen bar, it was awesome! Everything was perfect and they had the most delicious corn bisque you can imagine on top of other excellent dishes. This... More

We visited as place as a recommendation from a friend, did not even looked at reviews, I was very surprised by the menu, other than great steakhouse , it has a very modern unique cuisine. The chef is great. Definitely going back. I has New York, my husband rib-eye, but before that, we had swordfish belly, that was delicious, and the... More
