Had dinner here and to be fair the steak was excellent and perfectly cooked :) This is the second time I have had dinner here and I still think the idea is good, as long as you know how to cook a steak. You choose which cut you want from the waiting staff, they bring it to you then you... More

I loved this place. I had an amazing 20 oz porterhouse. Obviously you cool your own steak. They give you the times of how to cool your steak.

Went there while in town for a convention, had one of their mule cocktails, and the bone in ribeye which were quite good. They have a communal grill where you cook the steak and garlic bread yourself, which is different and fun, but if you aren't familiar with how to grill a steak, I'd recommend you follow the grilling guide... The hostess made sure we knew that this was a cook your own steak place. I had no fear, and my wife always compares restaurant food to what we do at home. We decided to share the 14 oz rib-eye. I'm glad we did. The server brought out the salad in a huge family style bowl. I had also ordered... More

Went there with a few people. Sat outside, caught the game on one of the tv's located inside. Grilled my own steak. It was fun and we all enjoyed the experience.

Not sure what I expected, but it was different. Service was pretty good as were the drinks. Unexpectedly, you cook your own steak on the grill near the table. Something different! The sides are served and they were delicious. We asked for more of several of them. I would go back if I had the chance.

Okay, so I gave this a try and here's the thing: The quality of the meat was excellent, the food was abundant for the price, the service was satisfactory, the location is really great, but if you don't know how to grill a steak (which I don't) then this is not the place for you. I was asked if this... More

I have to say that I am not a steak fan. I never have been. The Strip Club has opened my mind to the possibilities. Friday night in the Gaslamp is a zoo but we walked up and we were immediately greeted and seat. In a few minutes my party all had drinks in their hands. The waitress was a... More

Interesting concept for a restaurant. You order steak or chicken then you grill it to your perfection. Good way to meet other guests as you are standing around cooking

Was surprisingly pleased with the quality of the filet and the atmosphere. I enjoyed being able to grill my own steak while having a drink and talking with friends.

Thank Joe M

This 21 & Up “grill-your-own” steak lounge is located at the “foot” of San Diego’s Historic Gaslamp Quarter. This is a friendly, casual alternative to expensive, stuffy steak houses.
