I had the tuna, which was delicious, we also had the lamb shank osso bucco, which was great but the special pasta with lobster and shellfish was overcooked...lobster was rubbery and cool. The cocktails were delicious and nice wine selection. We sat outside. It was a beautiful evening, but had many homeless people around making comments, panhandling. I'd suggest sitting... More

Had a 30-person dinner here in the mezzanine. They did a nice job of setting it up and staff were pleasant when I was arranging things. However, the service at dinner was brusque at best and the food was only mediocre. The chocolate dessert was particularly disappointing - when people get up and leave their chocolate dessert behind, that says... More

Osetra was recommended to us by our hotel. They are a bit pricey, but well worth it. I had the seafood special for that evening, which was Lobster, Scallops and Shrimp. It was delicious. My husband had Lamb, which was fork tender. If you're looking for place to go for a special meal, Osetra would be my choice.

We highly recommend the multi-course summer menu option. The Caprese salad, bruschetta and sea bass were awesome as was the service on outdoor patio. The chocolate mousse and creme brûlée were delightful too. We enjoyed the live flamenco guitar music coming from the restaurant across E Street. This has to be one of the best options for Seafood in Gaslamp... More

We had a wonderful time here. Perfect place in the gaslamp to enjoy dinner with the family. We stayed in a hotel a block away and ended up eating here twice.

ok for starters are server was very nice and that is the good part. First we were seated in an area of the restaurant that had a bad fan belt on the AC unit or it needed to be adjusted because it was loose. We were the only people in there at 6pm that should have been our first sign.... More

We too, were strolling through the streets to find something to eat and having passed 20-something other eateries, we decided to go in. Food was nice, not amazing but nice - no complaints. Service was fantastic! Makes a difference

I was with coworkers walking up and down the streets of Downtown San Diego looking for a seafood restaurant that would suit everyone's tastes. I felt pressured and I was tired, so in we went. I had a grilled octopus appetizer, which was very flavorful. Everything was very fresh. The highlight of this place, is when someone orders a bottle... More

Mat recommended seafood restaurant in the gas lamp district. We ordered off the summer menu and were a bit disappointed with the quality. The food was good but not excellent. The service was great!

My husband and I had a very nice experience at Osetra. The service was excellent and so was the food. I got a salad and the lobster bisque because I was not very hungry. My husband got a pasta dish which he said was delicious. Definitely recommend this place if you visit San Diego!
