Great spot for happy hour and/or dinner on a Friday evening. Low key atmosphere, Friendly wait staff, decent menu. Great happy hour prices (4:30 - 6:30).

A friend of mine told me about this place a couple of years ago and I felt it was time to give it a chance. Liz thought the interior was really cute...I felt it was very comfortable and inviting. We took a table in the back cause "we hate listening to other diners" especially the loud and obnoxious ones who... More

I stopped in here by chance after working at the Young Hickory coffee house across the street. After a long day of computer staring, I needed some good food and drink. The Bloody Mary mix is from Ballast Point and is delicious- super spicy and had a ton of pickled veggies on top. I was surprised to see some great... More

The back patio has a lot of flies. The food was pretty good. We thought the mussels were a little old. Service was friendly and efficient. The $5.00 happy hour wine was also nice.

Saw the menu for this place online and being new to SD decided to try it out. Came here on a Saturday night and they were really busy. Unfortunately when we walked in the front (where the hostess stand should be but they don't have one) several waitstaff walked by numerous times before anyone greeted us or said anything like... My friends seemed to like their burgers. I ordered the special of the night which was supposedly seared opah cheeks with sesame crust, goat cheese, tomatoes and greens. The opah was not seared, no crust, very little cheese, terrible tomatoes. Only the greens were good. The waitress had a total attitude at the end when we got the check. She... More

Our table of three was forgotten continually. They were having a cd party in the front room and all the focus was on that. We ordered around of drinks and needed a minute to look over the menu. After a long time someone else brought our drinks out. We had to flag down another server to ask our server to... More

Go for the muscles in white wine sauce, or the newly added beef brisket. 2 very good items. Also try and make it on a Wednesday night (except the 3rd Wed. of each month) for Trio Gadjo, a gypsy jazz band that does a great job and plays a good variety of other classic jazz as well. Perfect place for... More

Took our family of 4 (includig a 4 & 6 year old) here after going site-seeing. Fabulous atmosphere! Had a patio in front dining inside and a beer garden in the back. We stayed in since we had been in the sun all day. My husband had the catch of the day served with fingerling potatoes. The catch of the... More

Ritual Tavern has a very good selection of beer and much better than average food for a "bar" type eatery. We enjoyed everything on their limited but unique menu. Especially enjoyed the house made sauces.
