This was my most frequented restaurant while living in San Diego! I'm a big seafood fan and Crab Hut tops most places I've been. Love the seasonings and never had a bad meal. A must eat for those seafood lovers visiting San Diego!

We were really surprised by how good our dinner was. And it's been a long time since we had such attentive and friendly service, even at fancier restaurants. We all had the king crab. They serve the crab in bags, so if you are picky about messy eating, get your sauces and seasoning on the side like I did. The... More

Ordered a variety between the 4 of us! The waiter was very helpful and attentive! The food was served quickly. From mild to medium the heat was a bit intense!! Good portion size, price was reasonable

My husband and I feasted here on our first night in San Diego - we made a reservation on a Thursday evening, and the place was pleasantly busy but not packed. Very casual atmosphere, some TVs at the bar, a lot of "seaside shack" type decor. We decided to go for broke and share the seafood bucket ($55) which comes... More

Enjoyed a bucket of crabs, mussels, soft shelled crayfish, shrimp, clams, potatoes and corn on the cob. You just eat right off the table......no plates. It was great! Washed it down with huge margaritas and beer.

We popped in for dinner and didn't know what to expect. The staff are great and were very helpful to a couple of first-timers. After we figured out how many pounds of crab and what sauce we wanted we donned our bibs and proceeded to massacre a table full of crustaceans. The food was fantastic and the meal was fun... More

This place is like no place in the UK. Me and a friend shared a huge pot of crab/shell fish and it was really good. Definitely a place you should visit. We would definitely go back. Happy hour is 4-7 weekdays just so you know and it has some awesome deals!

We went there mid afternoon to make sure we wont be waiting for so long to get a seat. When we came we were third in line and was told to wait 10-15 mins. However, we end up waiting until 25 mins. It's crazy because there's vacant tables inside. The food is ok but not worth the wait.

My son loves crab so I brought him here to load up. He started with the crab poppers which were very good. Then he moved on to the sausage sliders on Hawaiian bread. Yum! Finally, he was presented with a nice portion of wonder snow crab that he devoured. I had the crab salad which was also very good and... More

We had walked pass this restaurant several times as it is hard to find tucked in a storefront building. I am so glad we found it. Fresh seafood boiled and served in a plastic bag with lots of paper towels and bibs. Reasonably priced, tastes great, an upbeat atmosphere with good service.
