My family and friends have been to this place manu times, always a favorite place. food is fantastic, staff is always friendly and helpful and always looks clean. We love that it is a family owned restaurant with hometown values and you actually feel it when going in to eat. No alcohol, and no smoking, and very American!

Cook's is close and easy and so when I need something to eat between projects or meetings this is where I go. Food is good, onion rings are particularly good. Service is quick and friendly. Breakfast specials are always good as well.

I recently had lunch with friends at Cook's American Grill. Although I am a long-time Topeka resident it was my first time dining at Cook's.The parking lot and restaurant are both small and orders are taken at the counter. That being said I was very pleasantly surprised at our overall experience. The food was good, reasonably priced and the staff... More

Very enjoyable diner. All of the food is excellent. The value is unbeatable in Topeka. The chicken noodle soup is just like grandmas. Great hot beef sandwich.

Came to area for a seminar nearby so used TripAdvisor app to find a good breakfast spot. This is cafeteria-style service. OJ in plastic bottles. Coffee good but small cups. Interior clean but dated/worn/worn out (most chairs have rips in them). Tried the Biscuit & Gravy bowl with eggs over easy -- pictured. Yeah, it's a bowl but really thrown... More

While visiting friends, I was treated to a meal at Cook's American Grill. I was very impressed with the food, as it is all freshly made. I had the double hamburger and fries with a side of their homemade chili. The entire meal was awesome and the chili was beyond compare. They have a rather large variety of menu items... More

Had to make a trip to Topeka today and figured we would want to get a bite to eat. We decided to go here again as we enjoyed it so much in 2011 when we went there the last time. I had the Turkey Reuben and fries and my friend had a hamburger and fries. We were both very please... More

We went to Cook's for a late lunch between baseball games. The special was the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. The sandwich was delicious with a lightly breaded chicken breast piled with ham and a slice of cheese on a toasted bun. I also had the crinkle cut fries that were hot and fried perfectly! My husband had the turkey rueben... More

I enjoy going to this relaxed old style diner atmosphere and good food. The Breakfast is my favorite and seems to be enjoyed by many others. Great place for family also. A great Saturday Morning!!!
