Great location. Looking for a quick bite while seeing the sites and this place was perfect. A little more bar than restaurant but there is plenty of room in the early afternoon. Chowder was above par and he fish and chips were great. Decent selection of beers on tap. Service was attentive. Would definitely return when in downtown Boston.

We stopped in for drinks and food. Being in Boston I had to try the clam chowder and it was second only to San Fransisco's (which tastes the same in most places there)! The shrimp were also the best I've ever had! I can't wait for a return visit to try the fish. Beer was cold and the atmosphere was... More

A small hole in the wall near Faneuil Hall; exposed bricks, tattered wood tables, lots of sports screens ( not my favourite), but a nice warm ambiance. Friendly staff and when I was there great retro music. The fish was tender and flaked away nicely. I have not tasted the clam chowder at other restaurants, so perhaps all Boston clam... More

Blackstone Grill is near Quincy Market and in a very pretty part of town. I had clam chowda with the macaroni and cheese. It was really good. The atmosphere is fun and very relaxed. I think it was a great Boston experience and I'd definitely go back.

Stopped in for a few beverages. The establishment was clean, and rather busy for a Sunday night. The staff was friendly, and the prices reasonable. Stop in and say hi!

Stopped in for late lunch and we all just ordered appetizers and shared them. What a mistake!!! Their BBQ sliders were to die for so no one wanted to share!! We had to order more - we plan on going back before we leave!!!

I was at the Blackstone Grill this past weekend with my boyfriend. We were looking for a place to grab lunch and watch the football game, and choose Blackstone amongst a row of restaurants. We sat at the bar and were immediately waited on by the bartender who made great drinks and put an order of nachos in for us... More

Came across the Blackstone Grill last Saturday afternoon. Was very pleasantly surprised with the price and quality of the food! Both of us had salads - Caesar with fresh swordfish and Greek with steak tips. Food was great, fresh swordfish and deliciously marinated steak tips. Ended up sharing as both were great. Other food I saw looked very good. Being... More

Nice, cozy pub we stopped by for lunch. Good selection of draft beers and the food was abundant and reasonably priced. As coincidence would have it we also visited the Blackstone again that same evening on the BostonCrawling Pub crawl. Both visits get high marks with us.

Thank modad

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
