Everything is fresh and only use a few ingredients. Coffee is great and chocolate croissants are the best I have ever had. Crispy and fresh!

Just great bakery items .! I actually take the scone covertly into JP Licks where I order coffee and relish the magnificent taste of the scone.

Everything I purchased from this wonderful bakery over the four days I happened to be in the neighborhood was perfect. Blue Frog Bakery... you make good baked goods and you saved me from the multitude of client meetings I had in the area. I made sure my team members came by as well... so they could pick me up something... More

Customers pay less for bringing in their own mugs for hot beverages. They are doing a Canadian themed menu promo (excited for maple syrup).

They make the best scones here... I treat myself as often as I can... light, flaky, tasty and very creative. Other things here might be wonderful, too, but I always go for the scones.

Decent cookies, but come on -- just walk a few more blocks and go to Canto 6!

WOW! It is no wonder the bakers here look as big as they do - the pastries, cookies, cake, bread and all things not for someone on a diet, are amazing!

Staying in Jamaica Plain

Neighborhood Profile
Jamaica Plain
This Boston neighborhood feels like a distinct community unique and separate from the bustle of other areas. Beautiful Victorian homes, restaurants with an emphasis on being eco-friendly and providing local and organic food, and a large Hispanic community. Visit Centre and South streets for restaurants, cafes, and little shops. The Arnold Arboretum is a beautiful, large green space well worth a visit if you venture to JP.
