The mojito was without a sugar, half half with rum and mint only for decor. Btw interior decor is a bit hotel like but nice. Maybe good for business lunches or dinner but drinks and snack were disappointing.

We were walking around Quincy Market when I noticed Hillstone and was so excited. We absolutely love the other restaurants in this brand and I had to take my mother in law to try it. Was absolutely amazing for lunch. Wish we would have went for dinner so I could of had the Hawaiian Ribeye but the Veggie Burger was... More

This was our second visit to this restaurant. Near Quincy Market. We wanted someplace to relax and recharge. This restaurant fit the bill. Food is great.

My family of 3 had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. While not to friendly we were efficiently waited on by Liz. I had the special for that evening which was a grilled cod topped with crab, fresh veggie & whipped potatoes. The other two dishes were the prime rib (fit for a king) and a French dip with crispy... Love everything from the bar to the amazing sushi and thai salad! The food is very reasonably priced and the service excellent! We were a party of 13 at different tables and the wait staff were on top of our every need! Thank you!

Tucked behind the Faneuil Hall with an interesting and lively, albeit dark, interior, this place is not your typical tourist trap. On the contrary, it offers a great variety of dishes from sushi and burgers to salads and steaks. The quality of the food, the ambiance and the decoration were just outstanding.

California Burger...Crab cakes...two glasses of wine and coffee. Friendly team in a busy (and at times loud) restaurant in centre of Boston on a Friday evening. We had such fun and such great food...and the atmosphere was loud...but it was everyone having fun and food! Our mains were both excellent - they swapped out the coleslaw for veg on my... More

I have been going to Hillstone for the past 6 years with my husband because they are so attentive and the food is great. I love the coconut shrimp roll for appetizer or the spinach artichoke dip with chips. For dinner, I get their burger which is really well seasoned, juicy, and bursting with flavor. For dessert, I get their... More

Had the Thai noodle salad and the Cobb salad. We substituted grilled chicken on each. We had mentioned that we'd had a lot of red meat already this week and the server recommended the substitution. Quantities were appropriate for price. The ingredients were fresh and the salads were flavorful and not overdressed. The server was warm and friendly. A nice... More

Amazing kids menu which they don't advertise - our kids had ribs and burgers and they loved them - very generous portions as well. We had the chips with the guacamole dip which was heavenly followed by the sushi which was equally good. Service was also superb. We love this place!!

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
