Unfortunately the Boston location has closed as of 10/16. My wife and I have frequented the restaurant for 12 years and we're astonished to learn of its impending closing on 10/6. The food, service, and ambience were always impeccable. I can't say enough great things about this location. They decided to not renew the lease as it expired. The next... More

I had a lovely birthday meal here, it was excellent. It is a very popular restaurant and even though we had booked a table we still had about a fifteen minute wait but the waitress kept us informed at regular intervals as to when our table may be ready. All the staff were very good, the food was excellent, the... More

It is very busy and noisy. However the food is good. We had to wait a few minutes before we could enter (although we had made reservations, but we arrived a bit too early)). The dips were good. The cod reasonable. The tuna very good. The plates were very large. Service is fine. Ambiance reasonable.

Wherever you are in the US, Hillstones are reliably solid. Dinner at this one was no exception. The food was excellent -- hearty and well prepared. The drinks were good and the service was fast and friendly.

A wonderful reliable restaurant in many US cities. Have tried Denver,Phoenix, Chicago and Boston. They all have different atmospheres but the food is always consistently good. We had a nice family experience during non rush dining hours around 2:30 pm in Boston. Accommodation for a one year old and four adults was made easy with staff's help. No surprises here... More

Was not sure of this place but I am so so glad that I did. The staff were so welcoming and ready to assist with food and drinks. A great place for professionals to crash after a long day in the office and not far from Logan airport for a quick bite before the flight. For sure, I ll go... More

We had the crispy oysters and it was great! For main, we had the cod and the seared ahi salad which was very good as well. A nice place to go for hearty sandwhiches and salad.

Hillstone is located next to the Quincy Market complex. It is a very good, reliable dining choice. I have only had lunch at Hillstone, and have found it to be a very good option: An extensive and varied menu, good service and a nice setting.

Ate dinner here with friends on Sat night and we loved our food. Their sushi is unique. The seafood is super fresh and servings are large. The service is good. You can't make reservations but after you put your name in, you can go out and watch the shows on the street (super fun) and they will text you when... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
