I took my son and 11 of his closest friends to dinner here last night. They had a table set for us in the back bar area. Ella was our server and she was absolutely wonderful. Everything was perfect. The food, the service and the...atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back. Thank you!More

We dined here before attending a performance at the Wang Theater. Food was just OK and overpriced. The service was excellent.

The location is great centralized to the cit in a historic hotel. But then isn’t every building in Boston LOL. The atmosphere was Good with traditional modern look and good vibe. Service was slow at first but once they were engaged was very good and...stepped up. Great food all around from appetizers, to the amazing lobster, and steak. Prices are a bit expensive but as the night went on was not a concern. Good change of pace from traditional steak houses in the area.More

This restaurant is pricey and has very high quality diverse food. Our group of 16 dined in the private room parallel to the bar and the street. This provides a unique experience. We order so many tasty appetizers, crap cakes, wagu sliders and pizza that...the dry aged ribeye and asparagus were tough to finish. Recommend, however bring your wallet.More

We were staying at the Plaza Park hotel next door and had just returned from the theatre. They made us welcome and helped my wife who has Parkinson's to the table. Very attentive. Steak excellent. Bill big. But we knew it would be, so not...a complaint! This was a treat for me and my wife.More

Strip by Strega was a pleasant surprise. I didn't expect it to be so chic and fun. The decor was very trendy and great music was playing fairly loudly throughout the restaurant, giving it the effect of a nightclub, which provided such upbeat fun to...the atmosphere. There was also a good size lounge/bar area. The food was phenomenal. We had a variety of appetizers that were all excellent. I had the rib eye steak, which was cooked perfectly as requested and melted in my mouth. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but worth a memorable evening. My only real negative is that some of the waitstaff was not fluent in English, which resulted in my husband getting his meal completely wrong. Order taking should be done by appropriate personnel at such a high end restaurant.More

Steak arrived poorly prepared (over cooked). Lots of pressure to order sides. Pleasant but pushy server. And not a great vibe, just noisy. Just an unhappy meal.

This will be my first dinner of the night when I return to Boston again! I absolutely loved everything about my meal. Not to mention, the customer service was spectacular! My son had the steak pizza and banana split. I have the Japanese Wagyu ($$$),...carrot cake and took their signature cake back to the hotel. It was all very delicious!More

I have been eating raw clam and oysters and clams my entire line, and the only place I've ever had a bad clam was at the Strip. I ordered 1/2 dozen. The first 3 were ok, when I put my fork on the 4th one,...I immediately smelt something very foul. At first I thought it was coming from somewhere else and put the clam in my mouth, and immediately realize it was coming from the clam. Not only did it stunk, it immediately tingle my mouth! I immediately spitted it out and told the server. They were quick to remove it, and replaced it with 3 fresh ones. I regret have eaten any of the clams, because if 1 is bad, depending on the reason and source, it could containment the others. I hope I don't get sick! It's hard to quality control that the hundreds of shellfish that gets delivered to a restaurant, but I would assume at such a high end restaurant that the staff opening the clams would be trained to recognize (and smell) which ones are bad and should never be served on a plate.   On the other hand, I should have known better to order raw seafood from a steak restaurant. Don't make the same mistake I did: do not order from raw bar.More

We had an excellent meal at Strip by Strega. We all really enjoyed the meal. I will say, all four of us thought our steaks were overly salty though. We’d go back though!

The concept is really a mix of nightclub and restaurant. So I would say no. Also, you are able to find far better restaurants in Boston than this one.
