Place in old City Hall. Very nice refurbished, stylish decor and good food. Wine 🍷 as well. And ice cream. Definitely to recommend, especially that not pricy :)

Great food, exceptional cocktails and first class service make this a favourite restaurant when in Boston. The location in a beautiful historic building makes it perfect. We always seem to be served by Serg who is a great waiter

My two friends and I decided to grab an early dinner at a close by Ruth's Chris Steak House. Because it was 4:30 in Boston, it was Happy Hour at the steakhouse. I had a fantastic juicy Cheeseburger as did one of my friends, his wife enjoyed tremendously, the lightly grilled salmon, the food was superb and we ran into... More

We've been here for birthdays, anniversaries, and private events. This restaurant always delivers! It has to be one of the best in all of Boston. Top steaks, delicious sides, wonderful seafood, awesome mixed drinks specials...I could go on and on. Please make a visit to this beautiful establishment.

Hadn't been here in years. With all the excellent high-end steak houses in Boston there are many options. Our meal here coincided with Restaurant Week so approached cautiously as I knew it would be packed, even on a Monday. The place was packed but I was pleasantly surprised... we had an excellent meal. I've found the filet at Ruth's Chris... More

We have dined at several Ruth Chris Steak house. We ordered the NY Strip steak, a Filet and we shared a sweet potato dish. The steaks were delicious, cooked just right. The sweet potato was good but a tad over sweetened. For an appetizer we ordered the calamari which had some kind of sweet/sour glaze on it. The calamari was... More

Not what I remember. Steak was swimming in butter, as were the mushrooms. Service was excellent, though the light could have been brighter. Steak was perfectly cooked, though dry in the middle. Overall disappointing .....

This is a place where I take my banking clients to regularly as the quality of meat along with menu pricing are too good not to re-visit. The secret behind the Ruths Chris steaks are their buttery flavor and the 500 degrees Celsius that they are grilled at. My two clients and I had the fillet mignon, rib eye and... More

We went there to celebrate my birthday (first time....and last) Way over priced, all side dishes are extra and double the price of other restaurants like longhorn, bonefish grill etc. which to me are better and at a reasonable price fried calamari $18.00, fries $9.00, not much of a side for less than $10.00, the filet was salty and full... Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
