This is absolutely the best restaurant in Boston, if you consider the whole package: food, atmosphere, drinks, vibe, service. I was lucky enough to have learned about this place when it first opened, and it has remained consistently good. The Tuna Tatar is unmatched (It's not even as good at this restaurant's sister locations, like L'Andana)

It is a gourmet restaurant. The food is excellent. Try the octopus appetizer and the pastas are phenomenal. Beautiful atmosphere combined with first class service.

One of my favorite restaurants! The atmosphere is chic and inviting. The service is good. I think our serve could have been more attentive but over all provided good service. The sommelier was very good and selected two very nice (but very expensive) bottles of wine. The food was exceptional. The octopus appetizer was super as was the gnocchi potato... More

So, nice room, upmarket, quality place, attracting a well-heeled clientel. Interesting, menu of mediterranean type dishes with the promise of real quality food; this was delivered for most of our courses, perhaps the best meal we had in Boston. But, when you are at this level, the details become important and three fairly bad flaws were evident. In order of... More

This restaurant is definitely in the high end dining category and deserves an excellent rating. The wine list will amaze you, including after dinner wines. The variety of menu selections is extensive. The restaurant accommodates food allergies and I enjoyed a filet mignon with a side of pasta. The service was excellent. A very romantic and non rushed atmosphere. Very... More

A special place for a special celebration (though no balloons allowed, a little stuffy or would have rated as a 5 star) or treat yourself to an outstanding Italian fine dining experience. The foie gras was akin to enjoying a decadent dessert. Veal "saltimbocca" with maitake mushrooms and truffle potato was a cut above the rest. For a perfect finish... More

This is a beautiful Italian restaurant. It's very spacious, infinitely stylish and lit by hundreds of candles. It's a special occasion restaurant. The food was excellent and the portions on the large side too. We started with various pastas that were delicious and followed with veal wrapped in Parma ham and beef tenderloin. Yummy, couldn't eat a desert because we... More

We were coming from a concert and arrived 10 minutes before closing time. Everyone was gracious and served us beautifully. We had the foie gras, the gnocchis with lobster, the pasta with wagyu beef meatballs, the molten chocolate cake and the donuts. Everything was delicious and the wines were great too (try the Tokaji with dessert)! Perfect place for date... More

As with many of the previous reviews, we had a delicious meal at Sorellina's. But, what struck me the most was that although it is relatively high-priced and has sophisticated offerings, it was not pretentious. Our waiter was wonderful and joked with us and made us all feel comfortable.

Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
