Love it here. Service, ambiance are chow are excellent. I always stop here before any event at Fenway but have been coming recently outside of events... just for lunch or dinner. Without an event it's a much more laid back situation than when there's a game and the place is PACKED wall to wall. Seared salmon, rigatoni, Brussel sprouts all... More

Reminds me of country club, old school decor, very comfortable booths. We were seated quickly, thanks to a reservation. Service was excellent, staff attentive and amiable. Appetizer , the burratta, very yummy. The entrees were underwhelming, the desserts, great. The drink, beer and wine selection are great, almost overwhelming.

We called in here on the way to an early morning tour of Fenway Park (great tour, must do!) The restaurant is quite old school looking, and was mostly empty when we got there. We were sat down and water was brought over to us whilst we looked at the menu. THIS was what we wanted in a great breakfast/brunch... More

Whilst I didn't eat here, I did pop in briefly for a couple of drinks. An outstanding beer list, with choices from craft lagers, pale ales, IPAs, Sours, and Porters/Stouts. Could have stayed longer to have a few more from their eclectic list.

Staying at the Hotel Commonwealth and had a late dinner on our first night of arrival into Boston. We had a delicious dinner and the service was top notch. Despite being 10:30 pm at night, restaurant was crowded and fun. Great introduction to Boston!

Got into Boston on a Friday night. Red Sox-Cleveland playoff game #3 scheduled for Sunday. 20 minute wait at 9:00 PM. Biston was a very busy and crazy place wherever we went. Probably long waits everywhere. Selected this restaurant in large part due to references to gluten-free menu items. In reality, certain items could be made gluten-free. This is not... More

From top to bottom this is one of the city's best. The drinks are great, the food is very good if not great and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Raw bar lovers will be ecsatic and anyone else will be very happy they dropped by and spent time in one of the city's seminal eating and drinking rooms.

The food here was really good. Had the steak frites and a colleague had halibut. Both were excellent.

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
