When we first arrived here at Eastern Standard, it was so warm and welcoming, that we automatically knew that we would love it! The hostess sat us and we experienced a GREAT menu! Nice salads, fantastic entrees and LOVELY desserts! Our personal favorite was the butterscotch bread pudding! We had a great time and the servers here were so welcoming... More

We have been coming to Eastern Standard for years for dinner. Today was our first lunch. My wife and I sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful day. The staff was attentive and effective. However the food was not up to what we expect from pasr experiences. We started with a tomato soup which was very creamy and had a cheddar... More

The best spot to hit if you want an excellent bite or drinks before hitting Fenway Park.. place was packed last night before the Billy Joel concert. Enjoyed some drinks, excellent margarita, and some apps. Service is always professional and exact. Love it here.

Fenway has a ton of summer concerts, and its always nice to find a great place to get dinner after the show. Eastern Standard is such a place! It was interesting after Dead and Company -- seeing all of the bohemian crowd, as well as the money crowd. the money crowd headed to Eastern Standard from what we could see!... More

We ate here the night of a red sox game but even so, our server was VERY knowledgeable about all kinds of beers and drinks (their cocktails are pretty exceptional - had a fantastic gin from Menorca - the Mahon is a great cocktail). Appetizers were excellent - the main we got was okay but not great. Food is consistently... More

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighborhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
