We were lucky to find this spot and even luckier to walk in and sit down immediately as it was packed! ! Many different fresh shell oysters to choose from. We had 4 different varieties. All fresh and delivered to the table quickly. We also loved the Hamachi ceviche. Super fresh. Bright flavors from the tomatillo and cilantro. The kimchi... More

This restaurant is awesome!! Our wait staff was so great and the food was amazing. I had the crab bisque and the lobster roll - it was top notch. Hands down, the best lobster roll I have ever eaten. The ambiance of the restaurant is so fun. I wish I lived closer…I would be eating there all the time!!

Someone recommended this restaurant and the burger with fried oysters. Go at least and hour or two before you want to eat and get your name on the waiting list. I went on a Saturday night and I was able to sneak in within 45 minutes because I was on my own. The waitress was great and recommended two different... More

Have to wait an 1-2 hours but so worth the wait. Maybe if you get there before they open it is better time wise...not sure!

This little oyster joint is a gem! The entire menu is spectacular. YET the real gold is the wine list!!! OMG! Instead of reading this review right now, you should be in front of Neptune putting your name on the wait list! No, seriously! The foodie that I Am, I have to admit they have the Best Nicoise Salad! The... More

1 hour wait and it's all worth it! The Sunday special - lobster tacos was amazing. I want some more!!! I'm not a big fan of cilantro...the tacos had more than I would typically have...but it complemented the food very well.

Fun, crowded restaurant with good oysters and lobster rolls for a price. Great experience and good food. Not necessarily a place you want to visit more than once.

Don't bring anything big (stroller, suitcase) because there's not physical space for it. You'll be sitting elbow to elbow with someone else at a shared long table.

You got to have the lobster roll here when you're in town!! The lobster meat tasted so fresh, sweet and buttery. I would not mind a 5 hour flight from LA just to eat the lobster roll here to be honest. The oysters were also fresh with a large selection on their menu. It's a must-try spot in Boston. We're... Staying in North End

Neighborhood Profile
North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground. Take a rest in a cafe on Hanover street and observe the quirky, European character of the North End.
