This is the first time I'm willing to wait for an hour alone to eat in a restaurant, but after the first bite of the lobster roll , is all worth the wait , so so yummy!

Didn't come up to Reputation Must have missed something , but neither the Famous Lobster roll Or cioppino were special. Environment basic small, entertaining and energetic. Not cheap. Value fair. Would not go out of ones way to eat here. I assume there are many seafood restaurants of this quality.

We ate lunch here on our last day in Boston. Neptune opens at 1130 and we joined the line right around 1100. Within minutes, the first seating had already congregated, so, make sure you get there early or else you'll be looking at an hour and a half wait. Had the fried clams appetizer and the daily special of lobster... More

This place is a foodie gem! The oysters are fresh (the not so tasty mignonette being my only complaint!), the tuna was delicious and the hot lobster roll was the best we had the entire weekend. Even the anchovies were to die for! However, this place is incredibly small so expect to leave your number with the hostess because there... More

The hot lobster roll was delicious...over the top and definitely worth the wait. Waited about 45min (around 2pm) to be seated. Server was very friendly and very efficient. Probably best to get there early to avoid the long wait or get there after the lunch rush (about 3pm there was still a 30 min wait).

Best fried clams and lobster roll of our seafood crawl Boston trip. Clams were tasty and the best tartar sauce-basically creamy pickle relish. Lobster roll stuffed with hot buttered lobster and nothing else!! Great. Good wine/beer list also

My husband found a review of this restaurant on the web and it was given 5 stars for their raw bar. Well, that’s not the only thing that deserves 5 stars!!! Oh my goodness, where do I start, the shrimp and grits – MARVELOUS! The North End Cioppino – FABULOUS! The clams – hubby said they tasted as though they... More

We came here on a Monday night at 5:30 and sat at the bar immediately. I woudn't expect that to be the norm because the waiting time is usually much longer than that. It is VERY small but fun and the huge window gives you a look into the outside as well as a small TV, just in case there's... More

Had an excellent Sicilian White with local oysters. Go early in the day and don't wait. The hot lobster roll looked delicious -- will go back again for that! Staff delightful.

2.5 hour wait was well worth it. Our server was fabulous & very friendly. She recommended a beautiful Muscadet wine from the Loire Valley to go along with our oysters - perfect. The Cioppino & lobster rolls were excellent. Very small space. Highly recommended.

Thank McPoppy
