The food was excellent, the beer cold, service was outstanding, and the Travel Channel was filming a segment!!! The placemat provided the amazing history of the Green Dragon Tavern. After dinner, we even enjoyed some Boston Cream Pie.

Shepherds pie was fantastic. Mixed grill plate was good but didn't love the ham. And too many fries for us. The bangers and the steak tips on it were great. Server was attentive, gave good recommendations. Would definitely go back.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. An historic spot in Boston to enjoy a meal and their unique sangria. The burgers were great and we didn't try the fish and chips but looking around I think it would be worth returning for. Highly recommended.

We had a late dinner here on a Sunday night. It was pretty quiet then but when we passed it earlier in the day, it looked like they had quite a crowd. We wanted to eat something other than Italian or seafood and this looked...More

Wonderful bar, very interesting location, albeit probably the norm 200 years ago. We were there for drinks but did speak with a few folks who were raving about the chowder. Service was great and pricing was in line with what we were seeing elsewhere on...More

Great food, service and atmosphere. Two tables are open to the outside. They also have entertainment from about 4-7 in the evening.

Great food and beer, service was very friendly, fast and to the point. Very attentive without being pushy. Prices were normal, despite being right on the freedom trail. Look forward to go back.

The Green Dragon is one of those places you must stop while walking the Freedom Trail. The original Green Dragon was the meeting house for many revolutionaries including Paul Revere, John Adams, Sam Adams, among others, and garnered the nickname the "Headquarters of the American...More

We were doing our usual bar hopping. Stopped in here. Staff was very friendly. Looked like there were some usual bar patrons. Apparently they have food but we didn't try it. One drink and left.

No, their staff dresses normally but there are costumed people that lead tours of the Freedom Trail - both men and women. Not sure where they originate from. There is a wonderful information booth in the Faneuil Hall.
