My son works in the Back Bay so we were looking for a good place where I could get a salad and he could get a hot sandwich on a snowy day. We walked down to Wichit and were both delighted. Quick service. Seating a little cramped. Food mighty tasty. Glad to know they also deliver via service. (I can... More

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Wichit for breakfast. The Signature and Breakfast Bruschetta sandwiches were both delicious. My cappuccino was spot-on. The service was fast and very friendly.

Don't order clam chowder unless you just want a potato and bacon soup. Seem like nice employees. Need to check bagel quality. It is fine if you are short on rime or options.

Called in here for a late breakfast. Friendly place, good food and coffee and reasonably priced. Not bad at all

Stopped here while walking on Newbury Street for a bite.. We both had breakfast sandwiches- bruschetta was yummy ! The bread was very good, and the ingredients were fresh. Good value too! Quick food- much better than fast food.

Although Wichit is better known for their lunch sandwiches, I'd highly recommend their breakfast offering. The ingredients are fresh and the service quick. The variety of breakfast sandwiches make it hard to decide what to choose.

After walking by an number of possible restaurants for lunch that seemed too upscale, too crowded or too expensive for a quick reasonable lunch, we settled on Wichit. They have a number of options including breakfast items available for lunch. Prepared quickly and reasonably priced for a downtown lunch. We decided to splurge on the lobster rolls as out-of-towners. That... More

Really good quality but expensive because of the tony back bay neighborhood it's in. Still a very good spot for a sandwich or a lobster roll. Fun area.

I came here with my girlfriend and her mom after we walked past it. I ended up eating their BLT sandwich, which was good! Make sure you get their home made chips since they are delicious. Even though some are undercooked, the chewiness makes it really interesting. My girlfriend and her mom split the tuna melt, which looked delicious. They... More

We stumbled upon this place when we needed an early lunch ( 10:45 am). They were open and ready to serve. They have great menu options - Arugula salad with pears, candied walnuts and goat cheese, then you can add on any toppings (protein) that you want. They have limited outdoor seating but it worked for us. Also a great... More

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
