Food was good, prices were good. Did not wow me. It was just average.Nice college crowd watching the Patriots play. The tables were uncomfortable. It was very noisy. This is not a place seniors would enjoy.

Decided to drop in since it was close to our hotel and it was a rainy night. If you're into grunge, retro, fun places you will enjoy this. Be prepared for dark, roll or paper towels on the table kind of place where you can get really good App's, burgers, sandwiches and some fund pub food a excellent prices. Great... More

Me and my friend where staying close by and we wanted to find a bar with decent music and atmosphere. We couldn't have found a better place, good service, great drinks and not too pricey for Boston. Highly recommended.

I thought the breakfast here was awesome, but it was not a "Smart Start" kind of situation. You don't go to the Pour House for fruit and granola. You go to soak up the previous night's bourbon. The Bloody Mary was very good: a lot of spice and plenty of vodka. I got the French Piggy (French toast, bacon, sausage,... More

Stumbled upon The Pour House when we arrived into Boston. Friendly staff, great food served quickly and cold beer! Did I say cold beer? Yes. Also, in a great location. Close walk to Fenway and walking the city. A must stop for a refreshing adult beverage. Great place for kids, too.

This place is just so relaxed, so comfortable, that we instantly felt at ease. It was as if we had been coming here for years. Great food and drink, but also great people. We ate in here for breakfast which was so good we went back that evening for dinner. Tremendous value for money and a real fun place to... More

This is one of my go to places in Boston as I love the relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices, and great selection. Don't miss stopping in for a causal laid back pub experience as it won't disappoint.

We got a bit lost and walked around Boston for hours and found ourselves in the middle of Boylston Street. We ended up asking a policeman for lunch suggestions and he was spot on with Pour House!! Food was great, very generous serves and beers were icy cold.

We popped into this bar on 2 different nights whilst in Boston recently. It's a lively bar with good cocktails. We wanted to go somewhere lively for a few casual drinks & this place suited perfectly.

I go to Boston at least once a year to watch the Red Sox play. A few years ago I came across the Pour House and stopped in for breakfast. The place is an old bar and breakfast it's just one of the neat little things it does every day. It is traditional breakfast food and you have all the... More

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
