I go to Boston at least once a year to watch the Red Sox play. A few years ago I came across the Pour House and stopped in for breakfast. The place is an old bar and breakfast it's just one of the neat little things it does every day. It is traditional breakfast food and you have all the... More

We try to visit Boston every year or two and this place is always on our must go list. This is a great bar. The food is excellent. Whether you are here for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner you will not leave hungry. If you are in for breakfast the Bloody Mary is a must. The prices are reasonable and... More

Found this place walking around the Back Bay area after dinner at Top of the Hub. We chose this one because of the music that could be heard from the sidewalk. The bouncers were friendly and on Saturday at 9pm we found 2 stools at the bar. The bartender was friendly and served us immediately then refilled our drinks right... More

Great location in the Copley area. During weekdays it can get pretty crowded. They also do trivia nights, corn home, etc. Not a bad place to get a night cap or spend happy hour.

My family of 4 ate dinner here and our bill was only $40 so it's very affordable. Quality was ok. They do offer great specials each day of the week so if you go I would take advantage of that. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. It's decent food at an affordable price.

Large beers and a great crowd! The atmosphere was off the charts and I enjoyed our time watching all the people and playing games! The location made this place accessible and it was a blast to stop by. Everyone was friendly. There was no cover charge and we didn't have to wait to get in.

We stopped here for a drink and apps. The chicken parm dippers and nachos were awesome. Our bartender even gave us free Smurfettes.

We visited Boston hoping to get the full local experience. The pour house did not disappoint, good beer, good food and massive TV's with all the local sport.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
