I got the corned beef hash, it was pretty good. My buddy got the veggie omelette. The food was good, service could have been better, went almost my whole meal without a refill of water.

The food was pretty good, the service was pretty good, and the portions where pretty good. Everyone in our party enjoyed themselves and were satisfied. My only criticism was that my potatoes were not very hot and I had to ask for a coffee refill-...A personal pet peeve- servers should keep my coffee cup full. This is especially true at a diner at breakfast time.More

We have eaten here twice in the last two days. The food is really good and the atmosphere reflect an older diner. The wait staff is great. The portion served are more than ample.

I'm a big fan of diners and couldn't resist trying out the historic Victoria's. The pluses are good food that's served quickly and an awesome diner sign outside. The decor inside is a little bit more modern but clean and well maintained. The letdown for...me came from the servers- I don't think I got a smile the entire time I was there and the wait for a table with no acknowledgement was quite a while! I'd like to try again and see if maybe I caught them on a bad day!More

We LOVE diner food. I had not been inside the Victoria since 1970. Obviously many things are different. The place has a pretty basic layout. They do serve breakfast all day as well. We arrived for lunch and our order was for a ham &...cheddar omelet, home fries (you can also choose grits) and toast with hot tea and a mushroom burger with fries and hot tea. The food arrived hot, the tea was also. The food was decent but not a real grabber. The price was reasonable and the staff were nice too. The men's room was dirty and that was a really odd thing as most places these days take a bit of pride in their restrooms. Parking is tough, but local spots can be found. It has a full liquor license and stays open really late. We'd go back, but not on a special mission, just by accident.More

We had lunch at this establishment because it was recommended by our hotel. The restaurant was first opened in 1948 and was owned by the same family for 20+ years so they must have done something right. Since then there have been several owners. We...ordered lunch and a take out. The lunch dishes were okay but not great. Our take outs were sandwiches we planned to have later. They were good better than lunch. The building shows its age on the interior. I noticed an odor inside of the restaurant like mold or mildew - it was faint but noticeable .More

We stayed at the Marriott, which is nearby. Stopped here for breakfast....not the greatest area (we parked in the shopping center and walked under the underpass to get there) in the world but the food was really good and very reasonable. Our server (Soila S)...was very nice and super attentive.More

There aren't many diners and this one has been around on Mass Ave for 70 years. Quality and family menu is still the same! We went at an off time. Four in the afternoon, for a late lunch, early dinner. My daughter ordered the banana...french toast. A huge order of thick french toast with bananas on the top. I had chicken marsala with mashed potatoes and squash. Very tasty, huge potions. Free parking out back. We will return.More

Victoria's was recommended by our hotel staff for good diner style breakfast food. The staff was less than welcoming when we arrived and it took a few minutes to get their attention as we walked in even though there was only 7 people in the...whole place. The waitress appeared to be very apathetic and not too interested in providing good service. Our food was delivered by a different server and it was basically tossed in front of us and we literally didn't see anyone until we were almost done - we had to ask for refills twice. We ordered the eggs Benedict, eggs and hash, and pancakes. Everything was served very plain and lack of color ... the eggs Benedict had not color or fruit or parsley - just the Benedict and plain wedge potatoes - very basic. The other food was served in the same plain fashion. The taste was average - nothing over the top. Plenty of other choices for breakfast in the area. When we returned to the hotel and shared out experience, they said the food was usually outstanding and the service great.More

Visited my daughter in Boston and went here early for breakfast. Off the tourist trap path, not too crowded. Excellent food and great service from our waitress Allison. Huge portions and good prices. Great coffee and clean restrooms.
