Stopped in for a little Seafood and Brew. Had a Worm town IPA, passible not great. Started off with a couple pounds of steamers, Portuguese Sardine and Tapenade. The steamers were great. We assumed the sardine was fillets but it was the whole fish. Loaded with a Ton of Tiny bones, no thank you. Just a quick bite and on... More

This restaurant is very casual, and if you want lobster, especially pan roast lobster, you can't go wrong. this is basic, basic seafood and is great. No frills for sure.

We went on July 4th for dinner and didn't even have to wait! The food was great, especially the Lobster corn fritters. We will go again!

Good reviews on Yelp but disappointed. Four of us and unfortunately the fish and chips were a downer. Too greasy. Added potato wedges at a surcharge and they were cold, tasted like they came from the refrigerator i.e. overnight. Ugh! Mike the manager was very gracious and responsive but at that point we were done after begging for bread and... More

My wife and I went to this restaurant on the evening we arrived in Boston. It was recommended to us by the Front Desk of the Sheraton Hotel. It is a Seafood place but they do other things as well. We eat here twice in the five days that we had in Boston and we would have done so more... More

The food was quite good but a bit pricey for the area and ambiance. It was a recommendation from our hotel, but I would not necessarily go again.

Went as a couple on day one and went with a large group(18 people) on day three of our trip. Price are mid range for very good seafood and fish. The service was a bit slow for lunch, but they made up for it in the large group. The best waitress ever for this event. The food is very good.... More

Dropped by the Summer Shack for an early dinner on a Saturday evening, based on TA reviews. Restaurant wasn't crowded and we were seated immediately. After a significant wait, a waitress walked by and stated she'd be right back....many minutes later she returned to take our order. Many, many more minutes later, half of our order arrived and a few... More

Staying in Back Bay

Neighborhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
